Great source of Michigan news
Living outside of the great state of MI (my birth State and home) this site allows me to keep up with all things Michigan and Detroit!
Notification issue
I toggled only for Michigan wolverines notifications but I get all sports. Please fix asap!
Great articles but missing some information
Great articles but missing team schedules.
Detroit Fandom Dream Come True
Left Detroit almost 40 years ago ,but, have a passion for the home teams. This app delivered for me for many years! However, the recent update and prominent posting of ads and click bait is a disgrace for a paid app. Fingers crossed this gets fixed with the focus on user experience
No Free Press articles
This app only provides articles from the Detroit News, not the Detroit Free Press, as the splash screen implies.
Michigan sports
Must love Michigan sports teams because I’ve been living in Michigan my entire life
Rating
You’re not even showing any of the negative comments I’ve sent three and none of them have been posted. .001 rating! Fax!
Great Site
Well designed site. I am able to get all of the information regarding what’s going on in the state of Michigan sports while living in florida.
Where’s the Free Press articles?
I subscribed a while back and everything was fine. Now, I get a “loading error” message and zero articles from the Free Press. Why?
Error every time I open it - always have to open multiple times
Should be better
Great App
Keeps you informed about local Detroit sports that you can’t get when you live somewhere else.
App no longer works
When I select a section like Tigers or Red Wings the app gives an error message and displays no stories
Michigan Sports Xtra
Love it! Keeps me up on the Wolverines from out of state.
Too much political commentary
I want to read about sports. All of the other stuff they include is unnecessary.
Not getting notifications I am paying for
I have had no problems until a couple of weeks ago. I have asked for notifications to my phone for Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions activity but no other teams. I am now getting plenty of Detroit Tigers notifications that I don’t want and no notifications on the Wolverines. There is no address to notify those that run the app so I am at a loss to fix this problem and may be seeking a full refund next
Michigan Sports Xtra is a winner!
This app gives me the sports news I want about the teams I am interested in all in one place. So easy to use! Thanks Michigan Sports Xtra!
Worthless App
We all miss the old MSU sports app, which actually gave us a variety of stories, from 3 newspaper sources, with videos & photos. This one gave us a few stories, for a while. Now, every story requires “a subscription.” It’s just a sales promotion. Not worth my time, or anyone’s. And not producing paid subscriptions. Fans deserve better! Roy Winslow
Michigan Sports
Nice application that shows the articles for UM sports from both new papers.
Bring back the separate apps, please
I liked it a lot more when each team had its own app, Tigers Xtra, Red Wings Xtra, etc. I don’t read this much anymore since they combined them. Too much clicking to find stories I’m interested in. I do like the stories, but not the combined format.
Crashing
Good content. App frequently crashes.
Michigan Sports Extra app
This was always a great app, however now I don’t get the news, the story behind the headline. The boxes are blank!! What’s the problem here? Are you using a new server? Is it my I-phone? I miss it ok, the problem has been fixed. Thank you!!!!
Subscribers left without access to subscriber content
I am a subscriber to the Detroit News digital media. I should have access to the ‘subscriber content’ articles on the XTRA app. I don’t. You are blocked with a blue box saying you have to subscribe, and the restore purchase button doesn’t work. Repeated attempts to fix this in August, 2021, met with indifference and incompetence! So here’s a paper, struggling to survive, and it can only offer new subscribers a flawed app and poor tech support. REALLY PATHETIC! Maybe Harbaugh is running tech support🤣.
Confused and disappointed
I love the app. Loved the app, now when I pull it up it either just spins or pops up anthem shuts down. I deleted the app and tried to reinstall it but that hasn’t worked either. I’m really disappointed.
Michigan sports xtra
Love it
Very Slow Loading
This app on iOS 14.2 is very sluggish. Takes up to 105 seconds to load. Then articles you click on take up to a minute to load. Since the advent of iOS 14 this app has gone from decent to horrible. Junk app.
Awesome
I love everything about this app thank you so much for creating this
Michigan Sports Extra
App is crashing unexpectedly again, this happened once before and you fixed it. Open some articles and it shuts down the app. This is June 12, 2020.
App busted around 1/27
Fix it.
App keeps crashing
One of the absolute worst apps I’ve ever dealt with. There is always a problem with it. The latest issue is when clicking on a story and then scrolling down the app suddenly closes.
Bs
No articles show. Been trying to read for Weeks. BS
Junk
App won’t load any stories. Junk. Update 5/29 app now just crashes. Still junk
Indispensable
Use it everyday! Great content.
Can’t Read Any Articles
Whenever I tap an article to read, I get kicked out and back to my home screen. It appears the latest update was worthless. Looks like it’ll be one less app on my phone.
