Tracfone great service
Best phone service period.
Awful
This app has so many issues I cannot list them all. My main problem was that the app would not let me update my credit card information. The app kept asking me to login every time I tried it went back to the login screen. Eventually I had to login from my computer. Just awful and I don’t recommend using it. Looking into other providers.

App Used To Be Great
The app was always useful to keep track of the account and buy a plan but it seems as though it’s no longer functional. I have to use the website now 🤷🏻♂️

Today’s update version 8.6.8 and it still doesn’t work for my iPhone 13!
App Update
Ever since they updated the app the already tricky navigation got so much worse. I can’t refill my phone in the app anymore, I literally have to go to the website now. It won’t automatically show what I have left on my dashboard, I have to go to a different page and then go back to my dashboard. Updates are supposed to make things easier, it did everything but that.

The new app. Update is terrible, won’t let you add data or texts minutes . You have to go to the actual website to get them. Not user friendly especially for the elderly!
Needed help
When I need to pay my phone bill at the airport, they refused to help I could not access my email and give them a password code. They wanted to send me a code on my phone that did not exist because my phone bill was not paid. I would not trust this company any longer because they do not my safety, I was raped in between these actions of my phone, not being on, so yes, I will hold you cannibal
Subpar
Service is extremely spotty and subpar even in lower traffic environments, chat support feature is limited and inconvenient to deal with. Auto renewal feature is a scam and habitually problematic
Missing service date
This app used to be really useful to check your service details, especially your service end date. Now there is no place to see that and I have to log in via a computer. Please bring back service end date showing in the app.

I can’t get into my account on my phone what is going on???
Inaccurate
Never shows my correct date and service days. I’ve talked to representative told him they act like I don’t know what I’m doing.
Poor plan details
Could certainly be a bit more helpful… they show how many minutes/texts/GB are available, but for someone on a yearly plan like me, it’s impossible to find when my plan expires! How difficult should that be?! The old app made it easy. Now, I have to log into the website just to find the expiration. So much for the app making things easy.

Would give this zero stars if I could. App never works. Most annoyingly, I can never see how much data, minutes and messages I have left. Tracfone customer service is terrible. Spent 5 hours straight on the phone for help with multiple agents because they just stopped replying and then I’d have to start all over from the beginning with a new one. Never did get what should have been a simple fix to my voicemail done. I wouldn’t recommend tracfone to my worst enemy.
Why
Why do I have to update the Tracfone APP when I am not experiencing any problems. This is your problem Tracfone not mine....either I get to complete a depositor I'll find another carrier.
Worthless App
I have an iPhone 6S Plus and this new app doesn’t support my iOS ! Also my older app on my iPhone tells me it’s not supported anymore! What a piece of garbage Tracfone has become!!!! I’d like to rate this one a Zero Stars 🥵
solution for Canadian residents
Tracfone is a very economical solution for Canadian residents working in the USA or who frequent the USA often and don’t want to pay they extra roaming chargers. 25$ gets me 2 months of data, sms and voice. I have been on the program for just under a year now and have yet to use up all my minutes, texts or data. I paid the initial $30 for a SIM card and plugged it into a old unlocked iPhone.
Terrible service
They have their rewards program, but they don’t tell you that the rewards you use if you use it for the wrong thing they don’t tell you that those rewards don’t cover plants so congratulations TracFone. I’m moving over to red pocket. Do not trust these people.

Very complete application! The only thing who miss wirh tracfone is to call in Canada, we have to pass by Tracfone with 1-800 when will we be able to call directly our number as all other phone company?

This tracfone let me use my Canadian phone , I just changed the SIM card, so simple and very reasonable costs. When going back I just switch SIMS. Have all my contacts and pics. So long as I keep this with time on it (6mth limit ) I don't lose anything ...great ..

New app is a piece of garbage. Why fix something that’s not broke. Your new app steals yes steals minutes it steals data and you call support they are worthless. Come on do better.

My mom tried to extend her plan using the app; it told her "failure." Neither of us could log her into the website either on her phone or my computer, so I also downloaded the app (on a new MacBook Pro). Instead of even logging in, the app forced the non-working website to open -- in Safari, not my default browser. I also tried to get help through their chat system; it dead-ended me asking for a PIN (that's for card-using customers). Completely broken; app, website and chat, across multiple devices. We had to call and fight through their automated phone system to talk to a person.
