What people like
- Forecasters are accurate and informative
- Good local weather coverage for Vegas
- Team adds helpful humor to reports
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Forecast data often does not match
- Recent update made radar harder to use
Excellent
100 % accurate
Terrible Update
The recent update is terrible. The radar used to allow you to see the past and future prediction simultaneously. Now you’re stuck lookin at either the past or the future. As a separate option they’ve added a 24 hour future option which not only disagrees with the other normal future option, but also is always extremely inaccurate. The warnings and alerts are also now a separate tab that you can’t see on top of the radar anymore. Whoever thought this new design was a good idea really messed up.
Good app, but a bit inconsistent
One thing I have noticed is that when I look in the hourly forecast, daily forecast, and the live news weather report, they do not match up at all. It is great to get a rough idea of how the weather will be tomorrow, but it would be nice to have them actually synchronized.

What happened to the daily broadcast?
Viva Las Vegas
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas the house always wins
Inaccurate
Highly inaccurate just like their news casts save your storage. Apple weather is better lol
Needs updating
I tried to get the forecast and all I get was a photo of a casket in a rotunda.
App
So-so
Ads? Really?
Please, give us a way to get rid of the ads in the app and in the videos. It is unusable in its current form. You would think having one or more sponsors as this does would make it ad-free as it originally was. I would think about paying a small fee to get rid of all the horrible ads everywhere, including pre-roll in the videos.
App won’t update forecast
On my app the forecast is still stuck on some day from early September. That kinda annoying. Even updates didn’t fix this. Other than that I really enjoy the FOX5 apps.
Best app ever
They give you the best information of the weather
Waste of Time!!!
I Don’t Need the 30-40 Seconds commercials back to Back. I know that is what pays your Services But we just want to hear and see the Weather!!! It’s Ridiculous!!!
Review
Later great people at your station
Oops!
I wanted to read all of the reviews and mistakenly hit the wrong button. I actually give this a “5” because it has everything I want in a local Wx app
Not in Las Vegas
Even though we are in Dahlonega, GA, which is in the NE GA mountains, we are still getting the best local weather coverage compared to what is available locally. Fox 5 Las Vegas is GREAT! Thanks.
Weather Team is #1
The Fox 5 team of weather forecasters is second to none. They are accurate, informative and always add a touch of humor.
