I love this game
I LOVE Highrise so much I’ve played off and on for about 5 years now ! My only real complaint is if you want the better items you do have to put money in the game. But it really is a great time.. I hope they chill with some of the Ai stuff though
Player favoritism and Bullying
Where do I even start? I’ll just make some bulletin points of the issues this game has. • The staff and devs are friends with some of the players (@Zayinshema, @Chickynugs, @Klmiko, and basically anyone in the crew formerly known as “Unbothered”) • Regular players were caught dating staff members and are receiving gold and preferential treatment (still are) • The cost of some exclusive grabs are as high as 300G per spin FOR NO REASON other than the fact that the devs are money hungry • The devs have personal irl ties to some of the players and were even caught spending money on certain players’ OF accounts in exchange for in-game currency • There are no real repercussions for bullying and harassment for players who receive preferential treatment by staff. They regularly harass and bully regular players. They’re also racist and have been caught saying very questionable things. • The devs are extremely greedy. Every time their player base offers feedback, they do the exact opposite of what we asked • Overall 1/10. Money-hungry devs with major issues with corruption and favoritism.

It’s fun! But cost money
Lots of games, a social feed and profile to post on too. But it kinda sucks that everything cost gold and there’s no way to earn large amounts of gold, only few at a time. The currency you get a lot of are called bubbles and I wish you could buy gold with bubbles

it’s hard to even put this into words. admin doesn’t care about players unless it’s the top 1% spending thousands a week. the game is designed to make you want to spend money. the whole thing is entirely corrupt. it’s not just a dress up game, it’s a reflection of american society. greed, corruption, alienation. there are other games. stay away.
Taking away privileges.
Highrise, I love your game and all, but taking away my ability to chat and send images that I pay you per month to be able to use is just ridiculous. It’s a 16+ game and you have to be 18+ to use a majority of the main game components. Please fix this so I don’t end up quitting.

Love the Art, but $$$
There are a lot of cool things about this little social game. My biggest gripe, is how much everything cost, and all the things that can be achieved “for free”, are also bought out by people with way too much free money. Considering this, it’s impossible to finish first in events to win these special items. There are ways to earn gold, but don’t expect millions, maybe a few thousand. Also, these ways of making gold are out of app, playing different games to earn gold im this game. Oh and if you want a pet, well that’ll be just shy $100 bucks please. Cool game though, love the concept.
Spend Money to Bully Others!
This game has had a group of like 20 people who run rampant with cyber bullying and targeted harassment. They are some of the top spenders every week and HR as a company refuses to do anything about them. There are screenshots of them telling each other to leak their victims nude photos, to photoshop their victims onto degrading photos, etc. This has gone on for as long as I’ve actively played the game (over a year). Highrise does not discipline their top spenders, no matter what bs they pull up to and including cyber crimes. I’m not even someone they’ve harassed, it’s just so widespread and well known in the community and it’s DISGUSTING.
BAD SUPPORT
I have been waiting a whole week and counting for support to give me a new age verification link. Every time o try to Contact them they shut down the chat saying there is already a ticket open. And here I am still waiting. It took 5 days for them to assign someone to my ticket and it’s been 2 days since then and no one has said anything to me. It’s ruining my experience of the game. I’ve been playing since 2020 and I’m considering just deleting this game. Seriously why have support chats if your not going to help anyone

It’s been 4 days and HR won’t let me access the app as a whole, whenever I click on the app the first page that pops up is “trying to connect you to HR” and it stays like that for so long and it won’t give me access unless I turn on a VPN, and my internet is great I can access every other app successfully, FIX THIS LAG

Disappointed
Well i came back to this game after about two years and i am very disappointed and a little weirded out. Im disappointed because you can no longer buy clothes and things without bubbles, and you need gold. Gold you either have to pay for or do a game or a “survey” for. The surveys are not okay questions to be asking children or even adults. The questions get very personal and unsafe. Then after you take the servay they wont even give you the gold you were promised. I will probably end up deleting this game for my safety of myself and my children.

I really do love this game. It’s super fun and creative with the amount of avatar customisation there is. Pros- - smooth, clear animations - lots of fun avatar customisation - can earn free gold - lots of different games - the ability to make your own games, clothes etc. - earn free items through events. Cons - items are way too expensive - mini transactions are also expensive considering you don’t get a lot of gold. - crew boxes are pointless. - everything is just expensive.

I personally really don’t like this game. it’s a fun game, but I downloaded it when I was younger. I was supposed to and I got groomed by several different people all being above the age of 18 except for one which was 17 personally I really do not like this game my parents didn’t find out about the grooming it’s been a couple years sense and I’m still scared to download it again so please add some more moderation on the game if you can I don’t want more kids to end up like me

Toxic And Fake
It’s impossible to make friends on this game, I’ve played for years and like people are just rude, toxic, fake and nobody is genuine, respectful, honest all they care about is gold/money and be arrogant. I’m very kind and nice to others, people on the game don’t even try to make friends they just act like their better than you or like their on some pedestal and it’s really a shame. People on the game don’t even try to reach or try to make friends, not once have I ever had someone try to be friends with me. Last time it was my birthday, I went into a public room full of people and said hey everyone it’s my birthday and I was really happy too and like nobody even said anything they just ignored and if that’s the world we live in where people just act like you don’t even exist then honestly this game isn’t worth playing. All this game does is make you feel depressed and discouraging.

If im being honest i did not expect this game as it is, i thought there would be way more options to dress up as like fnaf, anime or more but the clothes are revealing the game is 12+?!?! Why would a 12 year old be playing this possibly wearing this. I understand if its way older people no one can have a say in that. Also it was less social then expecting to be. The game is okay though well done.

I joined Highrise in 2023 and it was a great game at first very enjoyable and fun I was able to talk to multiple people and gold was really easy to make however,recently they have updated the game and they care more about the players who pay money and those who can’t it’s too difficult,many items are expensive meaning you’d need to buy gold to afford it just to sell it again,they have added new features that make the game too complicated I prefer how it was before therefore I will no longer be playing this game I’m very disappointed 👎

If you’re looking for a game to dump all your money on to win in events, this is it. I’m a completely free to play player, I’ve never spent a cent on this game. It sucks for free players. You get bare minimum items, and the only players who actually get decent items are the pay to win players. Who, mind you, instantly turn around and try to sell said items for an extremely insane price. On top of that issue, they recently inflated prices of bubble items. Bubbles being the free version of currency in this game, to which you can’t buy ANYTHING with it. The only things you can get with bubbles are event boosters, and even then they inflated the prices. They don’t even pay you more, you just have to suck it up and watch your bubbles slowly go down. You used to be able to spend all your bubbles on an event and earn it back for the next day to do it again.. I can’t do that anymore. In conclusion, this game sucks. Very inappropriate for a 16+ game, it should VERY MUCH be 18+ with the amount of literal underwear options to wear. Not bathing suits, UNDERWEAR. LINGERIE. Keep your kids off ts. Tbh, any parent who gives their child a device just doesn’t care for their safety so NEVERMIND.
Great game but fewer details need
For 1st use should make a console eddition aswell like for xbox, the x botton can be chat while adding the basic keybored screen, and use joysticks to move around and look, and Lt and Rt to zoom in and out, and make it similar to rec room but how the game is right now but you can also create your own kind of games like horror, paint ball etc in 3rd person as it is and put multiple rooms thx and you need more open voice rooms
i have a love hate relationship with the game…
i’ve spent years on highrise. people would use it if they struggled to make friends in real life, people including me. it has now become an ego show for people who are chronically online. used in healthy ways, this is one of the best games you will play. the characters are adorable and it’s so fun to decorate your room to your own style – or making public rooms which you can profit from! despite some of the players being ridiculously unpleasant, i’ve been lucky enough to meet some of my favourite people from this game. friends that ive kept for 6+ years. however, highrise is unsafe for young players. my friends and i have reported players for messaging under age children and they are still roaming around on the game and are still known to be inappropriately messaging 13-17 year olds. if you are to download this, there are positives but the game itself tends to thrive on belittling other players and targeting certain minorities to hate on. a lot of the players are insensitive and ego driven and it has progressed into a lot of bullying. i want to say also that this game has such a big catfish issue. i’ve been catfished multiple times and fell for it due to playing highrise since i was very young. it’s really emotionally and psychologically harmful to deal with that. i also think that people who are verified 18+ shouldnt be able to private message 13-17 year olds…. if you are going to allow mixed aged groups, make sure the younger people are protected. i genuinely wasn’t and i think safety on the game should be more of a priority. highrise has unfortunately affected me in horrible ways at times, but im grateful for the friends that i managed to make and the laughs that we shared. i love you all for that x

Pay to win
There are no options for free players anymore to do events and end up in a top crew because of their contribution. The change to the bubble system has seriously hurt this game. If you don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend, don’t start playing this. Most of the things you spend money on are account bound as well which effectively makes them useless.

I’ve been playing highrise for almost 10 years now, we really need an option to turn off message requests or turn off messages when we want to, really getting annoy when people are too lazy to read someone’s bio and expect people to message them back when they want a message back.
