What people like

- Course is organized and easy to follow
- Certificate arrives quickly after finishing
What they complain about
- Hidden monthly subscription charges appear
- App crashes and has serious bugs
- Customer support is unhelpful or missing
Aceable is fantastic
Did my permit in a couple weeks my license in a couple months now defensive driving is only going to take me some days
Will blackmail you
If you don’t mind being charged extra for a DPS record and them withholding it from you for no reason unless you call them, also if you don’t mind them delaying your certificate “processing” by 2 days unless you fork over 15$ for a certificate that’s already processed and can be made instantly available on their side. Not to mention the text support agent being AI posing as a human giving false information. Then go for it
Glitch
You have to reload app sometimes and restart session
Playback speed does not work
Unless portability is important, Phone App may not be worth the money since playback speed does not work. Just use the PC and save money..
John
Love the app , great price , easy to pass everything
Some weird glitch
Kept opening and closing a window so I had to delete and uninstall. Wasting my time
Great app
Used it alot very helpfull!
Doesn't work
Paid $19.99 for a course, of which I can't enter in the information for my ticket. Awful. No live support either. Please refund
This is the one!
Don’t hesitate- the price may be a little more than others, but the efficiency and convenience this app gives is so worth it!

Nice
Easy to get done the voice reading used to be free now it’s $5 but I guess we can look past that for the quick service of course after $10 more dollars
Fix this app
Press the wrong verification question about me on accident and it makes me fill out my information again. When it gets to the driver license information, it becomes a piece of garbage and doesn’t let me press “Save”. I have the information filled out and just stuck and can’t complete the last chapter of this dumb app. Not even doing this for a ticket, waste of time.
Great App and Service
I was getting a ticket dismissed. This app allowed me to move at my own pace with no big test at the end, just questions along the way. I was able to break it into whatever chunks worked for me and even had the thing narrate so I could just zone out and listen. 5 stars. Highly recommend.
Don’t bother trying to use it for Harris County in Tx
If you want to dismiss a ticket, you have to select a court. All the other counties I tried would pull up the specific courts, except Harris. It just does the thinking wheel then does nothing. The help section is a white screen with nothing on it. I used to love this app, but it doesn’t work the way it used to.
Excellent
The course was well organized and clear. I did not have any issues with the app, pausing in order to take breaks. The certificate was emailed immediately following the course. If you are looking to dismiss a ticket, or save some money on your automobile insurance, this is definitely the easiest way to get those things done.
Finished and can’t get certificate
Cannot find an email or phone # to contact anyone on this matter. The app keeps looping the last 4 pages! I am sure I did everything correctly. Please contact me and send me my certificate. I did check my emails as well. I have my receipt.
FINALLY MADE IT ‼️
Been riding dirty for 5 years, didn’t wanna sit in a class & a bunch of other online classes were stressful to get through & LOOONNNNNG ‼️but Aceable was the best way to go for me now I’m happy to say I finally got my drivers license 🙏🏿‼️
A total scam
I started to set the account up on a computer, paid for everything and then when I logged in on the app it asked me for another $20 to get the course there. Then once I started the course it is unusable due to bugs. Aceable is utterly unusable.
Quick & easy
Love this delivery of content. Allows for very easy access to this course.
Watch out for the hidden $5/mo SCAM!
Took defensive driving. Worked fine as advertised. Like you, I chose Aceable bc of good reviews on speed and usability. That part is true. Also true is a hidden and not disclosed $5/mo charge to my card for “roadside assistance”. I have no communication from Aceable about this service or how to use it. I get roadside assistance with my car purchase already and again with AAA and credit cards. I would never knowingly pay Aceable $5 for this service. A total scam where they are secretly billing user cards after defensive driving classes. What seemed lower cost to start cost me another $25 before I caught on to the scam. UPDATE:: April 2022. After cancelling this service in 2021 they have started charging me again in 2022. It is impossible to cancel this service. The website and app do not allow you to see the subscription to roadside assistance or cancel it. Calls go to a SMS bot that does not work. Emails to roadside@ are not responded to.
