Doesn’t work
I typed in my number and it never sent me my pin. I am from the U.S. and used country code +1 and also tried 00. Neither worked and then it said I requested my pin too many times. Donkey republic app works great so we went with them instead.

Geolocation issue is frustrating
There is a problem with the geolocation information of the bikes. More of than not I can not take a bike which is phisically present, but the app says that it is located a few kilometerd away. This is frustrating, because you can never be sure if you can rent a bike or not. Very disappointing, taken into account that BKK even did a lenghty testing period before product launch. I am considering cancelling my subscription if the problem is not solved.
Unreliable bike info and has ads
Usability is mostly good. But the available bikes shown are not in accordance with reality and there is no obvious option for reporting this problem. Reporting is challenging also because the textbox with longer text extends under the keyboard and there is no way to scroll it up. The app has also an annoying ad banner on some screens, thow it is a payed service. The map has an annoying info button near the main navigation which opens a new browser tab with Mapbox for each tap and brings the browser in the foreground. Worse form of nightmare popups on a phone… Everything else seems fine.
Easy to use!
Download the app, create a profile, validate your identity, enter your payment card, scan the QR code of the bike you want to rent, ride it around, return it to the docking station at your destination, and then finish by lowering the locking lever below the seat. It’s really that easy! And what a great way to see this beautiful city on the many bike trails now available!

Extremely convenient, easy to use
Love this app, I use it multiple times a day, wherever I need to get. It shows station locations, saves your journeys, you can report faulty bikes by tapping on an image, it even handles the monthly payments for you. The only downside is that the station information is not always up to date: sometimes it shows bikes that are not there.

happy rider - for the most part
i have jist started using MoL in budapest! availability of kiosks and bikes are good! however some bikes are very badly maintained and are not supported to be on the road! brakes creaking and not working well! tires not inflated properly! metal part clanging! But if you look beyond all those kinks, it’s a very efficient way of getting around this bike friendly city! why did it take me 5 years to find this bike app out! i mean i have seen it all over town and the front door of my building even has a kiosk! Nonetheless, i am happy i signed up! and for 1000 huf a month! it’s a NO brainer! Go try it out! you’ll love it!
Extra költség figyelmeztetés nélkül
Normal bérlettel is fel tudsz venni elektromos kerékpárt amire nem figyelmeztet előre az app hogy ennek ugye egyedi ára van. Az ügyfélszolgálat szerint nekem ismernem kene a szamodokat hogy melyik tartozik az elektromos kerekparhoz… :) majd miután mondtam egy javaslatot a problémára elküldött egy újabb felületre mindenféle segítseg nyújtás nélkül. Az orult arrogáns viselkdedese az o dolga de akkor kifejezem itt a véleményem ha mar a hivatalos csatornán nem voltak rá kíváncsiak. Javaslat: elektromos kerékpár felvétel előtt jöjjön egy push noti ami figyelmeztet a költségekre. Ezzel meg is oldódna a probelma.
A rendszer szuper, de az app fejlesztendő
Sajnos nem túl felhasználóbarát, ha valami miatt nem rendezett a havidíj (pl. bankkártyacsere), akkor az app nem jelzi előre, hogy percdíjra vált, csak utólag jön a számla.

it’s easy to start a session, difficult to end it, and all along the difficulties m, they charge to your credit card and don’t refund. i will not use them a second time.

Problem
Hello, I’m using an iPhone XS Max with iOS 18.5. I installed MOL Bubi version 10.0.0 from the Hungarian App Store. As soon as I open the app, it immediately says: “This version of MOL BUBI is no longer supported. Please update to the latest version to continue using it.” When I tap Update, the App Store says “App Not Available in your country or region.” My Apple ID region and iPhone region are both Hungary, and I have already deleted and reinstalled the app.

Only Login no Sign up
Where can I sign up? I tried the Login page and put my phone number, but the app shows the account doesn't exist and tells me to sign up. But no where in the app can I find the sign up option.

Got charged $25 to take a bathroom break. It's great til they arbitrarily change rules or the lock magically doesn't register and they help themselves to your credit card.

The bike was ok but the gears slipped a little which was not so good to be going uphill and the gears changed from 1 to 3… or downhill when the gear changed 3 to 1 which could be dangerous! But enjoyable ride! The app is not the easiest to use
Toast message - registration
Nem tudom ki a PO-ja az app-nak de user design és UX szempontból nem a legjobb megoldás ha csak akkor tájékoztatjuk a usert, hogy nem tud regisztrálni amikor már a sig in-re kattintok mert semmi info nincs. Illetve a 2. Lépcsőn is a defult contentbe van beágyazva. User friendly megoldás lenne ha toast message ugrana fel az alert.

Useless
The app doesn’t work. Never received a Pin even after deleting and redownloading app. When I tried to press renew Pin it said I’ve tried to renew it too many times. I have not received a single code. Couldn’t even make an account.
MUCH Better Than It Used To Be
I tried to use this app three years ago and it ended in frustration. The only trouble I had this time was the initial registration. If you’re from outside of Hungary, it’s difficult to register your phone #. I kept putting in my country code, yet didn’t get sent a link. Use the website and put in your email—it’ll work easily. After that, it’s terrific. I had five separate bikes around Budapest one day for a total of $2.64 USD. AMAZING. 1st bike was a bit dodger, all others terrific. Great experience.
Constant frustration due to the condition of bikes
I’ve been using Bubi on and off for years and it’s just been too many times that I had a flat tire, broke shifter or/and halting chains. The overall reliability of the bikes is poor. It’s hard to recommend a service where the locks sometimes refuse to close, and every trip carries the risk of getting stuck swearing at a station for minutes before eventually contacting support because the bike won’t return properly. I’ve had many negative experiences, and I didn’t write a review earlier because I genuinely like what Bubi stands for. The app is good, and customer support has always been helpful — but the hardware has let me down too many times to overlook.

Never sends PIN
Was looking forward to riding in Budapest. Tried multiple times to get a PIN, but none ever came through. It eventually locked me out due to too many attempts.
