Having rediscovered and re-downloaded this game after several years absence, I was excited to see the updates. I was disappointed to see that I was unable to even open the game successfully, as it crashes on the loading page.

the furniture disappears
its a good game, the only thing is whenever i buy new furniture it disappears and i cant really decorate the houses. biggest reason why i stopped playing before bc its frustrating. feels like im just wasting money

Great game ruined by greed. I can no longer progress without spending money. IMO it shouldn’t have even made editors choice for this reason. I’d rather pay for a game and play it then deal with the greed ruining game play

Fun app but now it won’t launch
As soon as I start up the app it crashes. Don’t want to delete it as I don’t want to lose my progress. It is a really fun app and game; they’ve done a good job with it. Just wish I could play. 😂😅
Time doesn’t match my time
Id give 5 star but the game time doesn’t match mine . It’s somehow 6 hours forward, I can’t play much as when is day time for me in the game is already late and there’s nothing to do / animals are already sleeping

It was really fun at the start but when I got to the feeding cows quest it didn't let me. I had the food and pressed the cow but it wouldn't flippin work. And I just got stuck on all the quests and deleted the game. There was nothing that could help me like a help button or like to see the tutorial of feeding and other stuff. So sorry it needs to be improved. :/
Explosive Barrel (edited)
Hi! I love this game so much! I was VERY addicted to it and loved the combat and adventure! Though I had to stop because I’m trying to get a monster parts stall, but there’s a rock in the way. So I went to do the not EASY but MEDIUM and HARD sailing challenges. It’s very difficult and no matter how many times I won gold in the challenges I didn’t get the explosive barrel. I went to YouTube but the game isn’t really popular on there and so I couldn’t find anything to help me. Overall now I have to save up 250 pearls when this could have been done and over with. So please make it easier to get the explosive barrels so I can blow up rocks. Thank you and have a good day.
Awesome but incomplete
This is one of the best mobile games I’ve played to this day. I got really into it and the story is great but it’s a travesty that it never got finished. I’ll continue waiting and hoping that some day, some one will pick up the story and finish writing this adventure.

So hard to get explosive barrel
I really enjoy the game at first. But one star off because it is SO HARD for me to get explosive barrel. Exchanged with stuff over $300 several times, got nothing. Doesn’t matter how many times I won the medium and hard mini game, no explosive barrel. Missed a day on calendar, no way to get one from there. And now I am stuck at only the third trader house. Bag always full, purchased a storage house, still no place to put it. Big stones in the way. I just wanna quit because it is too much frustration to enjoy playing it…
IAPs all but required to play
At first blush there’s a lot to like about this game. I could easily get into this for a few dozen hours, probably more, if it were not the IAPs that are all but required to advance. I don’t mind spending a few bucks on a good game, and I did on this one, but all that got me were 5 extra inventory slots, which is pretty meaningless in a game about gathering materials to craft. You are squeezed at every turn to spend real money to advance in this game, whether it’s to create a reasonably sized inventory, add queues to crafting stations, or even open up blocked building areas on your home island. Now, the developer might try to argue that you don’t HAVE to spend money to advance, but right now my progress is stalled because I need a “root remover” or “dynamite” item to open space to build, and these items are apparently only available as drops from succeeding in challenges (I’ve done dozens of them and haven’t seen one) or to buy one for 100 pearls, which is how many I got for the few dollars I spent. And like other games with this formula, Pearls are occasionally available as rewards, but in such low numbers compared the number you require as to be virtually inconsequential. This is a great game, absolutely ruined by aggressive greed. Unless you have a bunch of money to spend, don’t even bother. I gave 2 stars instead of one because there is fun game in here somewhere, just not one that I’ll be playing because I don’t want to have to spend $3 every time I want to advance.
Unfortunate bug?
I rediscovered this game after trying to remember it for so long and it’s just as great as I remembered, unfortunately it won’t open past the loading screen and will shut off on its own despite trying to re download. I hope that this is able to be fixed as I would love to continue playing

Although, the only problem I have with it is that fishing is SOOOO DIFFICULT. Other than that, it’s a really amazing game that I have lost many hours to.

Love the game, been playing for a long time and it’s always my go-to game to get relaxed because of the unique vibe that I get from the game. Awesome features such as real time tasks that can only be done at certain times of the day are awesome. Would definitely recommend this game to anyone!

Quarantine Entertainment
I’ve been spending too much time playing this game during quarantine! :) Some of the “side games” are a little frustrating (I’ve been waiting for the target one for a looong time, and when I got it, it didn’t give me what I needed. So now I wait again....) It also feels impossible to receive the explosives you need for rocks... I also wish that you could share/sell more than furniture and clothes with friends. It would be nice if you could gift/sell root remover (etc) or even fish or crafted items - making it a little more interactive with friends. But overall a great game.
Hard to get barrel explosion or dynamite
hey, my piano is missing after some crash. I didnt know where it gone. And please, please let me buy the barrel explosion or tree remover with lower pearls or make it possible to get from the sailing quest. IT IS TOO HARD TO GET!
Incomplete
So I enjoyed playing the game but it suddenly ends, there are several areas of my home isle still waiting to be unlocked but there is no more story... At this point it becomes pointless and annoying. Are the developers going to add content? Is this it?

Very good game, it makes me think of animal crossing even if I’ve never played it.
Enjoyable at First
Beautiful game, but, as others have stated, the experience is ruined by IAP. It started out fun with moderate wait times for tasks (15 min.), but the times got progressively longer (1-2 hrs.) as the tasks became progressively more complex and tedious. Unless you buy coins and pearls, of course... I would have preferred to pay a flat rate for this game.
Amazing game!!!
I think the game is amazing it’s so fun and I love all the missions there are and the just overall how the game was designed. The only thing I wish was that to remove the big trees on your island you would need tree remover or for the big stones an explosive barrel. The only way to get those is through the challenges and sometimes it’s just to hard and impossible. I wish there was an easier way to get them like if there was a way to craft them or receive them as an award from a side mission or something like that. Overall though probably one of the best games in the App Store!
The game just ends
Where is the Nook tribe? I’ve completed the last quest and my island isn’t even complete? When are you going add the additional islands and new quests to the game?
It's a great game... But
I really like this game, I played dozens of hours, however I kind of have a hard time continuing... As a new player it is super hard to build up your island, everything requires x amount of money and time, and it makes the whole thing so much harder... I'm the kind that only buys in-app-purchases only if I really like the game. Lower the prices for building stalls etc, and then I'd be happy to play more and even to pay for iaps.

it’s fun
it’s a good game, but you can’t pick up coins or even sometimes bushes when there is a worm or food under it from before, it only registers for the worm and there’s almost no bag space once you’re collecting stuff so to get the coins you have to delete something possibly valuable or rare just to pick up a worm just to get the coins or have to go all the way back and sell stuff then come back and have the bush possibly respawn spawning another worm to pick up which is very annoying
Regret
I absolutely cherish this game. I have been playing it for years, and there is so much content on the game to get through that it’s a true pleasure to play. It just fills me with regret and makes me so heart broken to hear that there will be less updates for such a wonderful game. I understand that financial issues arise with F2P games on mobile platforms, but I hope that the developers are aware that there is still an avid and expecting fan base! I will continue to be patient and will never delete the game off my iPad because I believe it is a game that is worth waiting for; the developers can take their time - as long as I know it will be coming, I will be happy. My only issue is that I invested so much time and love into this game to be taken to a standstill. If I hadn’t, then I don’t think I would be feeling this disappointed. It’s my own emotions that cause me to rate this absolute gem 2 stars, because in all honesty (despite its rather grinding gameplay for players who are unable to spend money) it is a game worth 5 stars as it is such a well designed game. So with that, I’m still wishing the best for it and the developers! :) I’d 100% wholeheartedly recommend to anyone, as long as you’re a patient individual, you’ll love it!

By mistake I tap the option to be a boy when I wanted to pick girl so I deleted the game and put it back on but the data was still there so I checked settings to see if I could change it there but there was nothing so I’m stuck begin a boy. A Good Start
I like the graphics and the concept quite a lot, but the game definitely loses points for being frustrating. There are items that you need to advance the story, but that are only randomly found occasionally. I need 3 planks (9 driftwood) for two different quests (18 driftwood total), and they don’t spawn with any sort of consistency. Earlier, I needed strawberries, and didn’t find any for a few hours. I had to google how to get strawberries, because they seemed super rare. There should be a higher spawn rate on items you have quests to get.

This has been my favourite game since I downloaded about 4 years ago. I haven’t played for a few months but I’m super stoked to notice that it is being updated again! Best adventure game I’ve found, I can’t find any other like it.
Challenges
The water/race/slop challenges are just ridiculously impossible to complete in the medium/ hard levels. Suggest that you make them possible to win, otherwise it prevents to move ahead in game. Very frustrating.
