Me and my mum had this app a year ago. We recently downloaded it again coz she has gotten a new phone but it’s all in french and when I try to change the language to English it does not work.
Délais livraison non respectés et annulation partielle des commandes
Au fil des années le service client s’est dégradé. Côté logistique c’est catastrophique : des commandes annulées à répétition ou partiellement livrées - des délais de livraison de plus en plus longs et qui dépassent allègrement les dates annoncées - des frais de livraison beaucoup trop chers et pour finir aucune information donnée au client sur les problèmes rencontrés. Bref on est plus dans le respect du client et là c’est inacceptable
J’aime Veepee mais attention vraiment !
Oui attention aux tailles qui ne correspondent pas : un L est un L un 42 est un 42 … j’ai un 42 dit standard sans aucune particularité… (slip Sloogy ; pantalon rayé bleu Zara … ) attention aux chaussures qu’on ne peut pas mettre : des bottines asos sans fermeture immettables.. vu coordonnier 4 fois prix des bottines et com j’ai 2 jobs je ne prends pas le temps de tout renvoyer… sauf de vous faire cet avis car marre… ça coûte de l’argent votre marketing !merci de votre attention voire un code promo cordialement

One of the poorest purchasing apps I have ever used. Fantastic headline prices. App is unwieldy and I got charged twice. Overall a very poor experience. Would not recommend it even if the prices offered look amazing.

Don’t tell the missus!
Fabulous app, great bargains just stick to the brands you love otherwise you’ll wreck your banking app. Some start page glitches every now and again but restart the app and you’ll be fine.
Closed to United Kingdom
Why have you decided to close your operations for the UK market? It’s not as if you held any extra costs sending to us. We would pay for shipping and would have to pick up any import duties should any be added after the EU exit negotiations have finished. What would be the added costs to you? I’d imagine a lot less than the massive market place that the UK is. As of current, the UK has the highest grossing online sales market across the world.
Favorite app worse version
I love this app but since i got back from a vacation a week ago and updated it , a black screen appears and i have to reboot it twice. Please fix it so i can go back to my shopping rituals.😊

Nous sommes clients depuis des années et avons de nombreuses fois commandés. Nous trouvons souvent que le temps de réception des commandes est extrêmement long. De plus, nous comparons les remises affichées et il se trouvent que parfois elles sont erronées et gonflées car le prix n’est pas le bon ! Ce qui induit le client en erreur. Je trouve également que pour des clients réguliers et fidèles depuis de nombreuses années les frais de ports pourraient à minima être offerts car ils sont très coûteux et nous font hésiter voir même souvent abandonner un achat. Et enfin pour finir, les modalités de renvoies et remboursements sont longues et pas simples.

I used to use this app a lot. It was never great but now it just simply doesn’t load the sales! Something has gone very wrong with this company. Losing business all over the place I would expect

The site and products are great and often extraordinary value. But at the moment the app is really poor When I get an email alert it asks whether I want to use the app or not. Why? Then it takes me to App Store where I have to click on Open Then I have to click again to enter. 3 or sometimes 4 operations to do one simple thing. Also I don’t want my data scraped and sold. If they can’t make money out of the core business then they do something else. The privacy controls are poor and inaccessible through the app - probably not compliant with GDPR therefore. Disappointing.

I am sitting here trying to unsubscribe from this company, there is no place on their app to let you do that , I’ve removed the app but still gets messages every hour on the hour just go away !

Frustrating
In terms of variety, the site is brilliant. So many good bargains. However the app let’s them down. Too many glitches. I had to set up a new account because I suddenly couldn’t order anything on my old account. An inexplicable problem with not recognising any delivery address, occurred. The Help line was good & responsive but even they couldn’t work it out. And now, this morning, I can’t even access any sales, I just get a frozen still from the opening animation and nothing else. Very frustrating.

avoid. zero stars if I could.
Order never arrived. I sent two emails to their customer service team and they never even bothered to reply. More intriguing, after a few days of sending the first email, I was then unable to track my parcel. It now appears as 'unknown package number' and their policy is that they cannot give you a refund unless you have received your parcel - ridiculous! Please, avoid this app/services.

Great app, a bit slow
I love the app but I think you should invest more in UX as your user base increases. Also shipping is expensive and separate for each brand so it means we are less likely to purchase more across different brands, eg not converting as much as we potentially could. I suggest testing some new shipping prices and processes to see if it increases sales.

Appalling customer service: Company does not answer the phone or respond to emails!
I want to warn others about this company! I used them for the first time recently and it has been a nightmare. I bought children’s clothes and 3 handbags, some of which needed to be returned. There was no paperwork at all in any of the delivery boxes. I had to search online for information on how to return goods. There is extremely unclear and downright misleading information online. I have tried to phone the various numbers given online and at various times of the day, but no one has ever answered. I have sent 3 emails during the past week and have received no reply. As the online site says returns must be received within 14 days, I had to return them to the sender address in France which is printed on the box. The clothes I returned cost £30 to post to France - which is in addition to the steep delivery costs. This company’s customer service is totally non existent! I really think that I will have to get legal advice in order to get my money back from this company. A total nightmare. Beware!

Have used the site for many years and love the broad range of brands offered at great savings. App is easy to use and the advance notifications of up coming sales very useful. Being able to pay after delivery using Paypal is yet another positive.
Can not access the app
I am having trouble accessing the app, I have had to register again using a different email and now I am again unable to even login. Very frustrating. I have sent an email via help but nothing has been resolved.

I use the app often BUT ...
I like Vente Privee and use it a few times a month. You can get some fantastic items for good prices. Generally I find the app a little bit sluggish / slow. It's not quite as slick as I would hope for. And recently I noticed the Help & Contact section has a design flaw. I received a pair of trainers with no laces. When I went to use the email webform, I selected the correct dropdowns: 1. "Questions related to my orders" 2. I selected my order from the order list. 3. I selected "One of my orders is faulty, what should I do?" The response in the app said, "... Please contact us via Help & Contact / Questions related to my orders, with further details" .... So it basically advises you use the section you're already using but you can't proceed past that point. There's no further details text box, no Submit button. Only a cancel button. This means you have to use a different dropdown like 'I need to contact you about a refund' so you can use that text box to write your message, but of course I don't want a refund. One other thing is, once you've placed an order you can view the order, but if it's been a few weeks the actual sale is no longer showing so you can never get a close up picture of what you ordered, only a tiny thumbnail picture which is so small you can't see anything. As Vente Privee can take weeks for delivery it would be useful to see a picture of what you ordered, especially if you want to compare it to another item or you can't remember if a dress had thick or thin straps or whatever. The only way to do that is to screenshot it on your phone when you order the item, but then it's on your phone for your girlfriend/partner to see, no good if you're getting them a present! Not ideal. I think the app is not very well thought out in some parts. It's also too sensitive to scrolling. If I'm scrolling up or down in a brand quite often it dumps me back out to the main brand selection page because I've made an ever so slight sideways movement with my finger when scrolling. Really annoying!! Anyway, the app is good aside from that. I give it 6.5 / 10.
