Description
The app covers the rich terminology related to food and drinks, providing precise translations of the various terms, which in most cases are not found in a standard dictionary. It consists in five languages, namely Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, and is equipped with more than 4000 entries for each language.
This dictionary is intended for hotel and restaurant managers, dining room staff, students of training school for hotel and restaurant service personnel, and for clients of the hotel industry. It is designed as a practical tool for the preparation and understanding of the menu and the conversation at the restaurant
The app's interface has been redesigned to provide a simpler and more intuitive experience. You can swipe the definitions to the right to return to the search results and improve the readability by pinching the text with two fingers to zoom in and out. In addition, you can tap on any word within the definitions and look it up directly in the dictionary without having to type it into the search box. A main menu that can be activated via an icon available at the top right of the screen enables all the features of the app:
Index search: displays in alphabetical order the headwords that match the characters typed in the search box
Advanced search: allows you to search for entries in Italian to find the corresponding definitions in the 5 supported languages, or full-text search by specifying entries in any of the 5 supported languages
Settings: allows you to choose the font size of the definitions and the language of the interface
History: keeps a record of the searches performed
Feedback: use it to provide suggestions, and notify errors, missing entries or other comments
Our apps: displays an updated and detailed catalog of our offer
Privacy and Credits: view legal notices about the app
