Passed
This was so convenient to have with me on my phone and still deliver adequate information using the website and the phone were crucial. Glad I passed him the first attempt.
Scam/ useless
I passed my exam no thanks to this crummy app. Use your study guide and practice quizzes.
Not accurate
SMART goal question is wrong
Helpful but lacking for the price
The app is helpful but for the price, it should provide better explanations. A lot of explanations ,for answers, are “x is y because z” things like diagrams would be very useful.
Good content, not so good quality
The content is great. And getting 800 Flashcards is awesome!! However, I DID NOT pay $34 for this app to crash so often, log me out at random times, and take forever to load/generate a quiz.. then when it seems to load up.. it’ll say sorry can’t find the questions.. NEEDS AN UPDATE...
Passed my Exam thanks to pocket prep!
Amazing app, made my experience so much easier. Thank you team at Pocket Prep!
Doesn’t work
I paid for this app and I still have the ad at the beginning...but this is not the problem. I can’t close the ad’s page and can’t acces the app, have to delete ans reinstall it every time I nees to use it .
Not challenging enough
Please add more questions and make the harder.
Wrong answers
Some of the answers given do not seem accurate as per the book and some have spelling mistakes making it hard to understand the question. I’m not confident using this app for my Exam prep.
Too many bugs
When it work it’s a really good tool to refresh and or take practice exam for CPT hopefuls . It’s just too many bugs in the app causing a lot of force closes making it sometimes unusable
Amazing
First off, if you like quick studying but flashcards like Quizlet doesn’t give a full picture, you’d like this app. I’m using this for my NASM CPT exam. They have other organization exam certifications available for studying: ACE, NSCA, ACSM; and niche certifications. It is a bank of questions that have detailed information of the correct answer and my favorite, identifies why the other answers were incorrect. It gives a full scope instead of just correct/incorrect. The UI is friendly and clean and I love the desktop interface in case I don’t have my phone near me. Try it out. You won’t regret it!
Don’t waste your money
Honestly if you want to pass NASM, you need to study the material that was given to you through NASM, this is a separate entity of its own and is not connected to NASM in any shape or form. Go through the book and the practice tests that NASM provides and you will pass the test. This app is only here to waste your money make flash cards and go old school, with that being said i downloaded this app and paid the $30 to get the 800, and made the mistake of only studying on this app and a little bit from the book, DONT DO THAT!!! A lot of the questions that are on this app are not on the test, only two of the 800 have some relation, I strongly do not recommend this app waste of time and money
Great program- could benefit from a few small updates
Program is comprehensive, extensive, and challenging. The added factor of a Question of the Day is a great perk. The app could benefit from an update of NASMs most recent material. In addition, a feature where the user can decide which specific chapter(s) from which questions are generated would be most helpful. Example: if I decided I only want questions from chapter 1 or chapters 1,2&3.
Random questions
Some of the questions are not on any of the program . I’ll pass this app and just study from the quizzes they give u in the actually nasm program
Well-designed app but lacking a variety of ways to learn the material
It’s great to have such a variety of questions to take practice tests and the actual app is nicely designed and user friendly, but it would be nice to have a flash card section, especially for anatomy and some other learning modalities.
Passed my NASM CPT yesterday
This app was well worth the money. It over-prepares you for the test, which is exactly what you need. Of note, the questions are definitely not the same as the test, but because of the 1000+ questions and explanations provided for each answer, you’re able to clearly understand the concepts. I do want to emphasize that this app should not be the only way you’re studying. Strongly advise reading through the NASM course material, take good notes and use pocket prep pro as a supplement to gauge what you’ve learned thus far. PocketPrep Pro, thank you.
I would give 0 to the app because it seems like a scam.
I bought the app classic which was supposed to last for 2 month and it’s not even two months but I lost access to my paid version! I’m not able to use anything except free version and asked to upgrade/pay again. It sad and ridiculous! I was planning to study and scheduled my exam to get it right after my last day of app purchase. But now I don’t know what to do! It’s just ruined my studying plan. Apple did not help anyhow to resolve the issue. No contacts of developer . So, if you pal. To study and buying for a period of time, keep in mind that they will close an access at any time. Scam!
Nasm pocket prep
I purchased the pocket prep the 800 question months ago and now I can login to the app to get start now what can I do
Excellent Resource
If you’re wondering, it’s worth it. I just passed my NASM CPT and this was an extremely helpful resource in the study process.
Trouble to access to the app
Always trouble to get to the app and to stay in for studying and practicing.
Not an accurate guide to passing the test
I recently took my NASM cpt test after consistently studying with this guide for 2 months and most of the questions on the test I hadn’t seen at all mentioned on the app. This app isn’t an accurate study guide in my opinion.
Worth it!
This app helped me immensely. Having it on my phone meant I could do quick quizzes from anywhere which was so helpful. The questions cover everything you would need to know to pass the test and they break the meanings down in a way that is super easy to understand and understanding the concepts is key. Highly recommended.
TERRIBLE!!!!
Absolutely terrible app!!!! Not worth the money when this app don’t work correctly! Flagged questions are never saved!!!! I contacted the customer service on this app asking for a refund and of course no help!!!
Good but I experience alot of lagging
The questions are really great and the explanations for questions right there are really helpful. But I experience alot of lagging when it comes to trying to build exams, trying to look at my readiness in different subjects, navigating the app in general after I got the ultimate package. It's so bad I can't even use the app anymore unfortunately for it keeps freezing and then closing by itself. Really hoping they fix this issue asap
Honestly legit to help you understand the material
Don’t neglect the main course but honestly that and this and some YouTube videos is what I used and I passed today!
Is this app updated to the 7th addition?
Does anyone know?
Virtual 2020 Exam
I started using this app less than 10 days before I sat for the exam at home and I passed this week. I don’t think I would have without this app. While the questions available in the app are not necessarily the same as those in the exam, they prepare you for the exam because they are much more challenging. Highly recommend!
This 100% helped me pass
The in-app question style, format, & ability to review missed questions contributed to my passing the NASM-CPT on the first time. If I ever need to study for another exam, I’m using pocket prep.
