Views
Some of the places in the world have not too bad views, although my particular area in a boring part of the Midwest has horribly poor views compared to what it could be, just constantly focus on the State Capitol building. I mean, downtown would be a much better view, and not some far distant skyline view of downtown.
Not so great
I’m in my second year with EarthCam. The first year was great. Now in my second year it’s not so great. There are so many cameras that are constantly down for extended periods of time. Also many of the cameras have dirty lenses. Some with cobwebs, dirt and bugs. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy this app, when it works. I just think that if you are going to sell a product you should make sure that it works. It appears to me that they don’t have the right people in place to make sure that the cameras are operating correctly.
Different cams on phone vs iPad
Been using this app for years, before that, the site on pc. So I am a fan. However, I went to show someone something on one of the cams on my phone. Decided to use the iPad for a larger view. The cam wasn’t there, it was only on the phone. So I started looking at the app side by side on the two devices and there’s a different line up on each one. Every app, regardless of device, should be the same…especially when we paid for it.

Subscription does not work with Earthcam TV on Apple TV
Buyer beware that this app will not work with the Earth cam TV on the Apple TV as far as your subscription across both apps so if you just want this for your phone, you can subscribe to this for 4.99 a year if you want it for your Apple TV? You need to go to the EarthCam TV and purchase for 19.99 a year this seems like that’s the reason for the one star review buyer beware like I said, or you could be out some money. It’s kind of like a bait and switch they should be ashamed of theirselves.
Sometimes a great app!
I love looking at cameras of cities, beaches and animals. I think it’s a waste of camera placement to look at rocks, space and statues. Now if they can just keep them working, places like Mystic, CT has been froze for weeks!
Took my money then downgraded the app
I paid for this app when it had loads more cameras, but they have slowly removed all the famous ones, e.g. Hollywood and Graumans Chinese Theatre, loads of NYC areas, making my purchase now pointless.
Glitchy
Worked fine for quite some time but now I can’t switch from my searches back to the Home I have to leave the app and go back in. Same if I want to go to the main area first and the to my searches. Can’t do it

I’ve just wanted to say that the premium thing is really dumb because on the website u could just watch it for free if you wanna use a smart way to use premium is to just use cameras that are not on the website
Incompetent developer(s)
What kind of incompetent Gen Z developer doesn't know how to test their code!? 1. Go to the list of feeds on the Network tab and tap on a feed. 2. There's no back arrow on the video feed page. 3. Tap the Network tab at the top or swipe left to right to go back to the list of feeds. 4. Select another feed. Now there's a back arrow so you can navigate back to the list of feeds. 5. Select another feeds. Now there's no back arrow. 6. Select another feed. Now there's a back arrow. 7. Select another feed. Now there's no back arrow. Etc. Every even number of feed selection has a back arrow and every odd number of feed selection doesn't have a back arrow. Please go back to school before you attempt to write a single line of code! This app has been full of bugs ever since its inception. What a shame!

I got this app many years ago and love it! You get to check out other states and countries. New years at the Temple Bar in Ireland is my favorite!

Amazing! But please clean the camera lens…
My favorites are the tropical places and Botswana, they are like a mini vacation every day and the sunsets are breathtaking! My only complaint (and why I’m not giving this app a 5 star rating) is they need to clean the cameras WAY more often! Anything by the ocean is going to get sea spray and all other cameras just dust alone or a cobweb not only interferes with the enjoyment of the views but also gets annoying because the camera view is pixilated since it’s constantly focusing on what’s in view vs. what’s on the lens. Any place that has a camera should have to clean the lens regularly (once a week if by the ocean!). It really would make a HUGE difference in the enjoyment of this app. But overall love love love this app! Please add more international locations that aren’t just intersections of a main square/street. Thanks EarthCam!
It’s OK
There’s a lot of cameras I have access too, not available on earth cams which are primarily all the cameras I need to see. I did get a subscription which was a waste of money, as most sites offer more cams for free with a a simple search. Well it does have some good locations at lacks many others readily available for free, not to mention some of these cam feeds are also free online, that I paid for here.
I love this app, but
Why did you change the look of the cams? The bar on the top of the screen cuts off some of the pictures. Please change it back. Please? I find I’m not looking at them as much as I used to because I find it annoying to look at.
Sky Cams
Really enjoyed the sky cam views. Cleveland, Chicago, and Cincinnati. Would like to see more sky views of Cleveland.

Earth Trash you people got nerve charging a $4.99 subscription to look at WebCams that are mostly inactive what a joke !! ironically if I go on earthcam.com I can look at all these cameras for free, but you have the nerve typical corporate greed to charge people a subscription. That’s pretty sad. Gotta love these corporations always trying to find a way to take money out of your pocket. Do not subscribe to this fresh service. It’s been free for years now all of a sudden there’s a subscription, of course there is !!!
Love the app but owners need to keep up with their cameras
I check it every day. Great way to see what’s going on, watch the animals, boats or weather. Most cameras are live, but I wish they’d boot the cameras that are showing clips for months on end. I think Earthcam gets a fee for cameras registered with their app, so there is probably a negative financial incentive for them to do so.

Fabulous App!
This app is one of my favorites! You get a look around the world from your own home. I’ve watched fireworks from Washington DC on Independence Day, I’ve watched days when the “Wall” in Israel was so very quiet. 🤫 I’ve watched weddings in a Chapel in Las Vegas and beautiful sunsets on many different beaches. Great app!

I have cancelled my subscription because it is an insult to see a can called “Trump Kennedy Center” when that “name” is illegal !!!
Focus?
Are there any cams we can move or change the focus?
on the tv app version feeds freeze often in an hour
so you have reload a cam over and over again. when a cam feed freezes, the video will freeze and the audio will play a buzzy-like sound till you reload.
Rarely any cameras are working during weather issues.
Cameras are often not working during a bad weather alert. Are they turned off or are they affected by the ongoing weather conditions? Whatever the reason it’s most annoying. Also, the site appears very anti UK due to the limited amount of cameras we have. I liked the Bognor Regis view and often watched the threatening high tide levels. Why aren’t there cameras situated in Blackpool or Brighton. That’s why I use Skyline cameras in preference to Earth Cam.

I am liking the app no doubt it’s a quick look around the world. I noticed that a lot of the cameras are running on archive clips. Some are not there at all. The archive pics have different views and not necessarily matching the live view. It would be nice to be able to choose what camera to use. Also, the capability to zoom in on things as well as sound. Kudos for the work done so far!
Very limited scope, if you’re not American.
Don’t bother if you’re not interested in USA. No cams in Australia, Germany, France or about 20 other countries I was keen on seeing day to day life. Wish I’d known this before I paid the $8.

Paid £4.99 for this app. The cameras included are very good BUT there's not that many of them! And the biggest part of them seem to be in America.. Come on let's have a lot more of other countries. Hardly any GB cameras. Not happy......... 😡😡😡

You can literally browse the entire world in an afternoon. I’d love this app and even pay more if they could provide more cams. Africa and Australia and New Zealand - 2 cameras in total. Very disappointed. How about more cams??????? Last fix over a year ago? Obviously dead and won’t improve…..

I do like using EarthCam however I have found a lot of the cameras available to view don’t work. If you know the camera is out of action, don’t put it as a featured webcam for today.
Great but could be much better
I’ve been a frequent viewer of the webcams and whilst they are great I do wish there were more in cities outside the US, particularly London and Japan. Skyline webcams have tons of European webcams so it must be possible to increase EarthCam’s range which I don’t think has changed in all the time I’ve been watching.

I like this app and have used it on a number of occasions. It’s nice to see other places in the world in real time and with sound which is a nice addition, HOWEVER I AM A LONDONER and their are far too few cameras in the London areas, soo pleaseee this app needs to be updated so we get to see more London areas ‘n’ other places in the UK, the update is long overdue. If the additional cameras are added in London then this will be a 5 star app. Please add these, there are quite a few reviews on here saying the same thing Mr Developer
Not impressed
Just got this app a week ago , half of the cams are all gone and I paid the extra money , all they do is double up on the cams to make it look like more , not impressed .

Don’t like the way it’s changed , prefer the old way where I could view my favourites. Now having to wait / hope that I can view my favs when they come around. I ain’t paying for the privilege !
