Stopped working
Stopped working recently with one of latest updates on iPhone 5S. Before it was working even better than clients on iPhone 12/15 - at least it very very rarely lost a sync with a server, and newer clients after their updates on May/June 2025 worked rather unreliably

Android version is perfect. But iOS stops background and only work when app is open.

С мая-июня 2025 перестала работать на iOS и Андроидах. Иногда сервер видит их только когда устройства в мобильной сети, ни в одной локалке сервер их уже не видит. Да и когда устройства «online», их отображаемые данные отстают от реальных текущих на несколько часов. Приложение перестало быть сколь либо юзабельным, очень очень жаль
works good but wishing for more features ngl
in my last review, I said it didn’t work turns out it only works when you’re moving constantly tested it going on a bike ride it’s a pretty unique app tracked my entire bike ride from my house all the way to my destination if only it could constantly ping like every few minutes even if you’re not moving or if possible could maybe do something like what the find my network can do and ping other devices that don’t have Internet with the same app to my server would be pretty interesting if possible other than all that I love this app.
Good App but…
The app is really good and doesn’t have any problems, but it would be very nice, when the app was working in the background when I close the app via App Swiper.
App doesn’t work right
It doesn’t keep tracking anymore on my iPhone.
Mise à jour récente bien mais à revoir.
Super application de suivi localisation, ce pendant avec la récente mise à jour il a des paramètres qui ne remonte pas bien niveau serveur, comme par exemple le pourcentage de la batterie. J’aurai aussi aimé savoir quand même suivre une voiture électrique connecté, qui envoie sa position GPS sur l’application du constructeur, par exemple Hyundai.

Nicht gut
Weder auf Android, noch auf IOS läuft es zuverlässig. Hängt sich ständig auf. Die alte App war gut aber seitdem die neue App draußen funktioniert alles sehr unzuverlässig.
Большой расход батареи
Приложение свои функции выполняет неплохо. Но при его включении заряд батареи буквально тает на глазах. При этом, нет возможности настроить частоту отправки координат на сервер в зависимости от скорости движения.
Can't stay open in background
The app does what it says it does, and quite simply too. Problem: the app won't stay active in the background despite the location polling being set to "Always".
Good app!
I feel this app is very useful and all for safety. But I would I like it for the person that is being tracked to be about to have more options. Maybe know who is trying to look for them and everything!!! But yes this app is very useful and I like it also it is very accurate.

Unique reason to drop cost and track certain items privately. Cannot demo to team using the mobile application. DOA. Web gui works but cannot add iOS app devices nothing happens
Currently its 'MVP'
The product does that its supposed to do for sure, it does Minimal Viable Product (MVP). It however needs alot more attention to User Interface. By example... There are three very important variables in the setup screen; frequency, distance and angle. The user interface leaves you guessing what these are for - I speculated they refer to the reporting schedule - but are we talking ms, sec, hours, days..... are we talking mm, metres, miles, lightyears, are we talking N, S, E, W... are we talking 1 degree, 10 degrees... etc.? What does offline buffering actually mean? supports 3 days of offline tracking or 3 mins? Maybe its 1000 events, maybe its 10... The point here is we are left guessing and maybe it could all be fixed in an about screen? The 'Send SoS' - interesting feature but where does it get sent? Is it to the Traccar server? is it to an SMS location?, etc.... Another thing that would make for a better approach. In the logs, it would be better if the newest entries were at the top, not the bottom. If we are trying to diagnose something, you may have to scroll and scroll and scroll to get to the issue you are trying to replicate.

9.7.5 Dont work on my iPhone
After the automatic Update to 9.7.5 the Client dont send anx Signals to my Traccar Server

Der Client stellt nach ca. 10 Minuten das Senden ein. Damit erst mal nutzlos.

Hopefully we will get a factory reset option soon. Thx in all other cases, the developer is very engaged.

Why an update?
After the major update yesterday the update did not work at all. The update today did not really fix the problem and the app still does not work properly. Why was a major update needed? The app was running fine until now!

Apps works perfect. I have installed server version also and now have the ability to track smart phones.
