Best Logbook Out There
I recently switched over from ForeFlight, and it’s a night and day difference. There is a learning curve, which you can learn from reading their helpful support articles, but once you learn it, LogTen is the most intuitive logbook out there. Definitely keeping LogTen for my pilot career!
Waste of money
Expensive subscription for an app that is essentially not functional for any of the advanced features that I was hopeful to utilize. Works great for doing any of the functions that are cheaper or free on many other platforms.

Reports make applications very easy. I trust it with all my hard earned hours.

Manual Sync
I really wish there was an easy accessible sync button. When I get home after a weeks trip I have to open and close the app about 3 times to have all the hours sync from my iPhone to iPad. Almost every update supposedly improves the automatic sync but it never does. Just add an easy accessible sync button for when the automatic sync is lagging.
Love it
Easy to understand and navigate. I just wish it wasn’t treat easy to swipe to delete verified logs as compared to unverified logs. But that’s least of any problem. I still love it.
No control over my logbook
There is no web interface, so you don’t have control to go online and make changes to your logbook, look at the big picture, or make simple edits to your logbook. The only way to do it is through customer service, and they are just horrible. Seriously, google their reputation. They take weeks to get back to you, and they don’t provide any helpful actions.
Great Logbook
I’ve been using LogTen for years now. It makes logging flights extremely easy. The only thing it is missing is a way to import .csv files on iPhone/iPad. I know they have that feature for Mac users, but having access to that feature would greatly improve the overall experience.
Will not count flight hours
The app will import flights from fcview, that’s great. But it is not increasing my total time. I’m going to have to go back in and count up my flights to update logs which was the the whole point of a digital logbook. The only reason is not one star is because of it linking to fcview
Decent app
The UX is okay. The interface is quite a bit dated. They could really update that to something better. But it works. Support is slow but they do eventually help you. After like 5 emails and a one star review here.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
The APP it self is simply amazing, however the customer service S U C K S!!!I’ve been trying so switch accounts for 3 weeks in a row and no agent has contacted me in any way shape or form to help me with my issue, don’t know what to do, at this point I feel like I’ve lost all my data and no one answers. I’ve any body actually reads these reviews check them all out because LOGTEN’s customer service SUCKS!!
Random discrepancies between devices
Same issues years later. When saving a backup it records the correct number of flights with the incorrect number of hours. When combing through 1500 entries it turns out it arbitrarily drops a leg (easy to spot) or changes a leg time (eg. 7.3-4.3, not easy to spot and requires a second logbook to reconcile). In other words, don’t get rid of that paper logbook folks.
Great tool, but…
The ability to make customised reports is overly complicated. Also - it would be great to have the ability to create an automated export to a document so that things like resumes, etc are automatically updated.
Great, but can be confusing
I really like most of the features of this logbook, getting it setup just right is a pain. The information about how to set things up is lacking or is confusing. It would be nice if they added a feature within the app or with each selection that had a way to describe what each selection does. Provide examples of how to set some parameters up. This app can be very powerful, if you know how to use it.
Syncing between devices still poor
Data entry and syncing between devices is still poor. Otherwise it is a decent logbook tool.
Chinese charecter bug report
When pilot name is in Chinese characters, there is no creat new pilot option generated.
I would not recommend anyone to buy this - personal opinion
All of a sudden the app stopped working says loading… syncing logbook from cloud. It happened on all devices that has access to my logbook (phone and iPad). Tried every troubleshooting step, didn’t work and tried contacting support no response from them for 5 hours now and no phone number to call. Very unresponsive even with the urgency mentioned in the email. Some reviews said people logbooks were reset. I cannot confirm that as I cannot login and a subscriber.
Reliable, excellent featureset and great support
I have been a using LogTen in the past, but was displeased with having to go pay a sub very soon after I bought a non-sub version. Tried other apps, but have come to the solution that LogTen is the most reliable of those I have tried, has the most expansive featureset and has great support staff. 4 out of 5 stars due to its rather high pricing point, but otherwise an excellent logbook app with likewise support staff.
Careers Isn’t for Everyone
For many of us who use this product, including the people who have been here since the beginning, we do not need the careers section and would like to turn off or hide that functionality. We also all pay for this service and should not be having pop-up “ads” to promote your new service. These marketing functions are all in bad taste for a service that is not inexpensive. Please update and remove those components out of respect for your long time users.

Great Product
I continue to be impressed with the functionality and capability of LogTen Pilot Logbook. Thank you for a great product and great product support. I recently induced an error that messed up my entire logbook on crew position. The tech support team was able to fix it for me and now all is well.
Way buggy and it always freezes in sync
The sync function never works and it doesn’t add up your hours correctly. About once a month it gets stuck on the losing page when you first open the app and won’t get past it. It takes a few weeks of losing for the app to start working again.
New update causes crashing
Like the app, but for the last 2 months when I try to import from crewly then sync, the app just crashes, small inconvenience but for a yearly subscription fee I’d like it fixed ASAP
Sync Function Has Never Worked
Great app if you’re using it on one device and don’t plan on losing that device. Otherwise, there’s far less expensive options available that will do the same thing.
Great However.
LogTen Pro has sure grown a lot in the past 10 plus years since I started using it. I like the numerous features that help make logging flights easier. However, a few still quite annoying things remain. 1. I have been a user of an IPad Pro for the longest time and ever since iPad OS, I have been requesting and hoping they give the same functionality of their Mac app to their iPad OS app… This would be especially helpful because I do not have a Mac and the team does not have any intention of releasing a Windows LogTen version. This keeps putting me in a tough spot of wanting the advance features of the Mac App but having basically the big version of the phone iPad OS app which some of the UI isn’t even taken care of properly. 2. Additionally, I love keeping track of who I fly with.. However, I cannot make enough slots for all the Flight Attendants to be listed, (including the custom ones. ) Having unlimited crew labels would be a game changer. Additionally, Foreflight has a way to import a route that was flown into their logbook. I would like to see LogTen to do the same. However, the first issue of the iPad OS version of LogTen being nerfed is most critical. 3. Along with those issues the third issue is the watch app. It has issues of properly logging the UTC time and dates. Information gets flip flop and there is no way of manually putting in the airports in the watch and all must to be collected again when its saved to the app. And redoing the OOOI times in app to ensure the times are not flipped makes the watch app completely useless. It shouldn’t be hard. To capture UTC time as UTC time and keep it as UTC time. This can be fairly unnerving. For example, I was doing a flight from RSKI to KSFO, I put our out and off times of 0222Z into the watch and 0250Z into the watch and along with the values for landing of 1259z and an in time of 1305z in UTC. However, when i go to the app. It listed that i did those times in local so 0222 local time out 0250 off and 1259local on and 1305 local in which are grossly in accurate. In closing, is it a great app? Yes, if you just have an iPhone or if you have a Mac. Is it great for all these other features… a lot of these are lacking and make the process more aggravating.
Fits Every Skill Level
I’ve been a LogTen user for 15+ years. I’m now a Captain at a Legacy airline and I still use LogTen each leg, each trip. Conform the content to you and make logging your flight time, creating sign-offs, and building your career, one flight at a time. Or take advantage of another huge bonus and look into having the LogTen crew help you with all those back-logged green pages, converting them into your electronic logbook. There’s is a cost to that of course but for some it may be money well spent.
Scammed
I selected the 3 month trial and was charged after 7 days… before I could even try to export my current logbook over (not possible without owning a MAC) they quickly charged me $130. No phone numbers for support or billing. A nightmare out of the gates.
Excellent App!
Great app! Maybe a bit slow to sync between my phone and my Mac. But not that big issue. I'd really like to be able to log flights from my Apple Watch though
5 Years. Changing Platform
Clunky UI, minimal import/export options, unable to comfortably enter data manually from an iPad, or laptop & have to resort to iPhone. Backup function was finally fixed, but presentation of data / fields is not synced across devices. Support used to be decent in editing / importing / changing batches of data but now offers minimal solutions. Find it very overrated / overpriced, will be changing to a platform at a lower cost that understands pilots
Nice Logbook, but missing basic features
The App only works as a logbook, as users we can not download our rosters directly from the company servers, one of the available options is to Pay a subscription at RosterBuster and then download the roster from the server. Then send it to LogTenPro. With PilotLog, we are able to do both things under one App. Will appreciate if the developers of LogTenPro will come up with some new features that are worth the price of the membership

Lost logbook
They seem to have lost my logbook, the app will not even load, and the support team has stopped responding after only a few messages. Maybe it’s a rarity, but not worth the risk for career pilots.

Support Very Slow
I have spent days trying to Balance forward previous logbook hours. It’s not easy! Support have not replied for over two days and STILL awaiting a reply!!
Log Ten Pro
It’s a great app with some neat reporting. There are some glitches though that do not seem to get sorted with updates. 1. I bought a lifetime package for Mac & IOS but it now only works on my Mac and I am being asked to take another subscription to get my iPad working again which would be useful. Surely lifetime means lifetime? 2. On my Mac the columns keep moving around so suddenly different hours such as night, instrument, rotary will be in a different order or mixed in with passengers which themselves are in a strange out of sync order. Despite dragging the errant columns back they will have moved again a week or two later
Excellent Logbook
Easy to use and has all the features any type of pilot will need. Sync between devices smoothly. Highly recommended.
Import service doesn’t work as advertised
One of the main reasons I upgraded was the promise that LogTen would import my airline schedule and flight data. Unfortunately, the import process has been unreliable, inconsistent, and in my case, simply not performed. The website and support documentation describe an import service that doesn’t match the reality of what users receive. Support initially told me imports would be handled monthly, then quarterly, and eventually said they could not import my file at all—despite it being the same format they previously accepted. Each response contradicted the last, and no clear explanation or solution was provided. For an app at this price point, the import feature should work as advertised or at least be supported consistently. Instead, I’ve spent more time trying to get basic functionality than actually logging flights. If you’re subscribing specifically for the import service, be aware that it may not be delivered.
Greedy Coradine
I think the latest move to start subs are greedy and hopefully not sustainable. The smartgroups are NOT readible on iPhone. Why not shorten the name and still show the results. Stupid guys. The iCloud Drive sync DOES NOT WORK. sold a product without testing it. I wish You people will go under
Unforgivable bugs and UI decisions
So… was recommended this app and migrated over. Found the app relatively user friendly although there do seem to be some glaring omissions (logout button anyone?) In any case the problems started a few days ago when a CFI friend was having a look with the intention of maybe migrating over as well and he managed to change himself to PIC off ALL my flights where I was PIC - even though those flights were “locked” which supposedly prevents the data within from being changed. Then I had an issue whereby my iPhone would not sync with my iPad. All the entries were in my iPad with nothing shown in the iPhone. No problem - a recent update from LogTen along with an email saying that all devices must be updated for the newest sync feature to function. So all devices updated and when logging in on the iPad I then faced a screen saying the data is out of sync and must be redownloaded from the cloud. At this point I knew 100% what was about to happen. Clicked the button - the only button - the only option presented to you the user is to continue and… you guessed it - all my flights disappeared. So now my iPad and iPhone are perfectly in sync with nothing showing on either. Fortunately I had made a backup prior to all of this but…. You can’t use it. You must contact them. The design decisions made are beyond frustrating.
Problem with subscription with new iPhone
I just changed my iPhone for a new one and the app doesn’t recognise my subscription or allow me to restore it😐. There seems to be no ability in the app to deal with this, it says I only have a trial subscription and keeps restoring that, which is locking me out from using the app. Very disappointing that simply changing my phone for a new one is all it takes to stop the subscription working. Be warned, as so far, despite a number of e-mails all I have had is an automated reply that they are “working on it and will reply within 2 business days!”. Pretty poor functionality and support for such an expensive subscription.🙄
Locked, Loaded, and Ready to Fire
If you’re looking for some serious horsepower and flexibility in your logbook capabilities, this is your app. Need custom fields to match your needs? How about being able to recall any necessary hours without digging out the calculator and trying to subdivide categories to fill out the 8710? LogTen has you covered! They can help you auto fill these forms so you can focus your time on what really matters. Don’t be afraid to convert that paper to digital. They have a service for that too!! The last logging app you will ever need!
Misleading features, broken imports, and no meaningful support
I purchased LogTen based on the advertised features and airline integrations, but the actual product doesn’t match what’s promoted. The import/export system is unreliable, inconsistent, and fails on basic data validation. Even simple roster imports require constant manual correction, and the app behaves unpredictably with larger datasets. Several features listed on their website either don’t work as described or are missing entirely. Support responses are slow and often contradict their own documentation. When issues are escalated, the answers shift depending on who replies, and there’s no clear resolution path. After discovering these problems, I attempted to request a refund through Apple, but LogTen’s support insisted everything was working “as intended” despite clear evidence to the contrary. If you’re expecting a stable, professional-grade logbook with reliable airline integrations, be cautious. The marketing doesn’t reflect the actual product experience, and once you subscribe, there’s no practical recourse when the app fails to deliver.

Going the same way as Adobe
Adobe also chose the forced subscription model, and now designers are leaving by the thousands for Affinity. The same will happen here. For the cost of a movie every month is a weak argument, considering all the “just the cost of a movie” expenses professional pilots pay every month. Great product but the price is beyond justification.
Great principle for multi platform app
But won’t work on iPadOS for me, and others. Very frustrating and no fix in sight sadly. Time to check alternative logbooks!

Repeat crashes and hours of waiting for help
App was working fine until I tried to edit entries today and then proceeded to crash repeatedly with no way to log in. Basically useless now and may force me to cancel my subscription if this isn’t resolved ASAP.

Good App but too expensive for subscription
I’ve been a professional user of Logten for 10 years. Logten X is obviously the best version and it works very well. After spending hundreds of pounds on previous versions and now on this version and now on a subscription I’m not really sure its worth it anymore. It’s an awful lot of money every year to just have the ability to sync between your devices.
