Really Enjoying It
This is the first language app I’ve used that has kept me engaged. It gives a good range of vocabulary at once and is great for sentence structure. I like to read over the sentences to myself and I’ve been learning so much more this way. The app also gives short grammar lessons as you go through the course. There’s no lives lost or anything too video game-ish, which I tend to find distracting. It still has cute animations, but nothing too in your face. I’m going to subscribe!
This was an awful experience
I downloaded this app because it was recommended for learning Finnish. I downloaded it and the entire signup was in Spanish and assumed I wanted to learn English. Thank goodness my Spanish was good enough to go through all of the questions to set up my program. I thought when it was done it would allow me to go back and choose another language - nope, the only option given me was to continue with the English learning program set up for me. Not helpful since English is my primary language. I deleted it.

Siitä asti kun päivitin tämän sovelluksen, se on toiminut todella huonosti. Koko ajan ei ole yhteyttä sekä sivu alkaa koko ajan ladata pitkään joka tekee käytöstä tuskallista. Haluaisin että tämä toimisi paremmin puhelimella sillä ei ole aina pääsyä koneen versiolle. Harmittaa koska maksoin tästä.
Eigentlich gut, aber direkt ein Fehler zum Kursbeginn.
Die App ist aufgebaut sehr schnell durchklicken zu können, sofern man die Antworten weiß. Simples gutes Design. Warum allerdings gibt es direkt in der ersten Session einen Fehler? Es heißt nicht „S‘il vous plait“ sondern „S‘il vous plaît“. Das lässt mich befürchten, dass vielleicht weitere Fehler folgen, die ich dann nicht mehr zufällig erkenne.
Prepositiot
On hyvä ”tankata” uudestaan ja uudestaan prepositiot. En ole sitä aikaisemmin tehnyt ja nyt se on edessä. Gulp! Arviolta on aikaisemmin menty. Tämä on hyvä, vaikka tuskastuttavaa!

Ich habe einfach direkt anscheinend einen Monat gekauft und nicht die kostenlose Testwoche bekommen, obwohl das da stand. Sehr ärgerlich!
Decent app with frustrating errors & shortcomings
One of very few online options for learning Estonian, especially beyond beginner level, so I’m glad to have it. But the English vocab prompts and some of the Estonian answers, are inconsistent and confusing. Eg. The English prompt will just say “Open” - does that mean you want me to supply the infinitive “To open”, or the adjective “open”, or a conjugated version eg. “He opens”? The answer the app accepts as correct varies, and there’s no clue as to which it will be (eg. Most times it’s the infinitive, but for the prompt “Go”, the correct answer is given as “Läheb“ which means “He goes”. For the prompt “Open”, the correct answer is given as “avatud”, which is the adjective “open”). Similarly, answers to pronouns are inconsistent - for “we” and “you”, the answers deemed correct are the short forms, “me” and “sa”. But for the English pronoun “me”, the correct answer given is “mina”, the long form. Frustrating errors to find in an app that seems to be really good in other ways.

Horrible customer service
I tried a free trial of this app a couple months ago. I cancelled it. TWO months later, I randomly get a charge to my card for the subscription. I immediately investigated and found my subscription had been reactivated. Though they’re claiming I never canceled despite me following the proper steps to cancel months prior. As far as a refund for the $10.08, they quite literally told me that it was my own fault and I didn’t give them a good enough reason to refund the money. The returned email was highly unprofessional and I responded accordingly and let them know that I would be escalating the issue higher. ($10 isn’t a lot of money, but it’s the principle of the matter). I then received yet ANOTHER email, stating that they would go ahead and refund me as a “good will gesture”, but they demanded far too much information from me. Below is an excerpt from the email I received. “For the refund we would need the following information from you: bank account number, name, address, city, clearing code (ABA routing number/Fedwire). Please note that we are not responsible for any bank charges your bank might charge you based on the refund sum. When we make the refund, we are only responsible for the bank charges our own bank charges us. Also, all our refunds are done in euros.” Thankfully, my bank and Apple were more help than this joke of a company.

Wenn hier schon eine Version für das iPad angeboten wird, dann sollte diese auch im Querformat auf dem iPad funktionieren. Da ich mein iPad mit dem Magic Keyboard nutze, bringt da nur eine Darstellung im Hochformat recht wenig. Da gibt es genug andere Alternativen z.B. Doulingo, Babbel die Querformat auf dem iPad unterstützen.

Hallo, ich finde diese App sehr gut, ich bin nämlich ein 10- jähriges Kind, was unbedingt Englisch lernen möchte, aber das ist nicht der Punkt! Ich finde sie wirklich sehr gut auch die Fragen am Anfang. Doch dann als ich gesehen habe, dass es Geld kostet (es ist nicht relevant wie viel) musste ich es leider de- installieren. Es ist schade, dass es Geld kostet, aber zum Teil kann ich es auch verstehen. VIELE GRÜSSE

The lessons are simple, easy and build every day. Very repetitious but I have found in a week I have learned more than I have and any other class trying to learn Spanish

cant hear anything
the volume for this app seems not to work my phone speakers work fine with no issues and the volume is turned all the way up when i use this app but for some reason when i use this app there is not volume for anything i cannot hear the pronunciation at all or any noise effects and i can not figure out how to turn on the volume in the app or maybe it is a bug that needs to be fixed
Too much at once
This app does well at explaining the lessons but dumps way way way too much info at once on you. These lessons are hard to me because there is just so much thrown at once. The lessons need to be broken down into smaller sections because you don’t have time to absorb it all before more stuff is dumped on you. It makes it hard, or maybe it’s just me.

An sich ist die App sehr gut aufgebaut und es macht Spaß zu lernen. Allerdings geht seit einem Tag der Ton nicht mehr und dann ist die App nutzlos.

Living in the US it’s always a good idea to know Spanish. Though the app only offers Spanish from Spain not Latin America. There is a difference and if it’s ever offered I may consider redownloading

Makes you stop
I just started using the app the other day. So far I’m really enjoying it. My main complaint is it’ll let you go so far. And then will make you wait 24 hours to do the next lesson. Why? It’s really hindering my progress.

Good program overall but glitches
Everything was going smoothly until my iOS update a week ago. I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, but since then I can’t get the app to work unless I sign in through the website on Safari, and now tonight I’m not even able to do that since the web page won’t even load.
