Beautiful app, poor support and weak reliability
I want to say this first: there is simply too little information available about this app. There is almost no proper documentation or user manual, so when something breaks or a feature fails to appear, users are left guessing. The app also seems to favor only newer iOS versions, which makes compatibility feel unnecessarily limited. What frustrates me even more is the iCloud sync design. There is no clear conflict resolution, and the app does not properly inform users about sync status. That makes it very hard to tell whether data is actually safe or up to date. On top of that, there is no separate visible option to enable weather adding, so when the feature fails to initialize, users have no way to troubleshoot it from inside the app. I am writing this as someone who actually likes this app and has donated before. That is exactly why I am being critical: I care about it, and I want it to be more reliable and transparent.
😐

Bug?
It’s great overall but somehow takes me back to the main interface every time I swipe left or go to settings.

Exactly What I Wanted
I’ve been on the hunt for a to-do list, notes, and journal app that’s simple yet stands out—and I finally found it! I’m genuinely impressed, especially with the timeline feature. It’s so unique and intuitive, adding a whole new level of functionality I haven’t seen in other apps. The only downside? I can’t use it on my 2017 iMac, since it requires newer software that I can’t update to anymore. It’s such a disappointment because this app is fantastic, and I’d love to use it across all my devices!
Can’t put into pics like used to
I can’t put in more than 3 pictures in my notes, it keep deleting the previous pictures over and over again !
Synchronisation to iCloud doesn’t work !
Tried many many times but the synchronisation to iCloud still doesn’t work! Now only can use on my iPhone and all information in Pendo couldn’t get across to iPad.
Sync Issue
I like this app a lot. It’s free without advertisement. It’s useful. The function is just right and enough as a personal journal note. The appearance is cute and simple. Everything is just right. But the issue is that it’s not syncing well between my iPhone and iPad. This is fatally flawed. If this is solved I’d like to donate to support the team.
Great app for notes and journal
This app helps me to track my thoughts and events in life. Very appreciated that the developer make it feature rich and simple. One suggestion: is it possible adding a feature to enable users navigate previous or next journal and notes by swipe left or right without going in and out to directory to read each entry? This would be very handy for journal and note reading. Thanks again for developing a great app!
widget not working for me
The widgets is not working pls fix it.
Works quite well
Simple, flexible, and works surprisingly well with the combination of starting items and having a history of older items
5.9 update breaks this app on mac desktop.
Worked fine until a few days ago when 5.9 update happened. Will not open. I've tried deleting it and reinstalling a few times and nothing works. Still works on my ipad and iphone...but I'm really missing the handoff to my desktop. Please fix this.
Icloud sync issue
I used this for more than 6 years and it has been great. I always had the icloud sync on. But recently the app got deleted accidentally and it could only recover / synced from icloud partially - only a subset of journal prior to 2023. Is there anyone I can contact to recover it?
It's bad
Veeery veery bad👎🏼

Wow bummed
Useful app but now I am stuck in some “help us out” loop. Made purchase, shared, wrote review and still can’t use app.
Could be really good...
If tasks and calendar events didn't just disappear. Work to be done on syncing as iPad & iPhone don't match.
Apperance
I love it! Now, focus on apperance; please.
After update
Amazing app that I can’t live without
My favourite everyday app. Only thing is in the latest release, the finished to-do items are still showing in the app icon in home page. Once this has been fixed, it’ll be perfect again ❤️
Not quite there yet
Great idea, I just don't like the look of the interface. Type is too crowded and not the right font choice.
TODO LIST
Please help
I’ve been using this App for a few years and it’s always been my fav App for taking notes and journals. I have years of journals in this App. Recently there’s some glitch with the App so I reinstalled it, all my content was gone even with me synced with iCloud and backup on my Google drive. Those are very important memories to me so please help me
One Thing Would Make Pendo Perfect:
Dear Pendo Note Devs and Creators, Please update Pendo to work with Apple Pencil. And then (which is even easier), make the notes taken by writing them down (on a device and reformating
Download
Download takes ages and app not responding at all. Good idea but needs work!
I like it but it can't upload video
I hope this App can upload videos and sync to other software
Adorable but glitchy
I LOVE this app! It looks cute and I love all the different modes and features. Every now and then, when I refresh my calendar, some stuff doesn’t pop up and my list of events is half as big as it should be. If you can fix this, I’ll be the happiest!
Nope...
Too many glitches for my liking.
Love this app, but wish it can record editing history
The thing is every time I make a some change, the journal creation time will be changed to now, which would lost the original creation time. It’s sad for a journal usage. Now I don’t know when or under what situation I had those thoughts.
Problem after update
Loved the concept, was easy to use, but after the latest update the note IQ doesn't really work nearly as well as before. It no longer understands simple commands and always messes up the time for my calendar. Please fix.
