Deleted Dreams
Used this app for years and now all of my dreams are suddenly gone.
Great app, long time User
I’ve been using this app for about 4 years. The developer has made a lot of improvements since then. It’s a great way to quickly get your dreams documented and aggregated. Now it even shows you common themes and people. There is an AI analysis feature behind the pay wall that I’m considering. Overall a really solid app for journaling your dreams.
Need Search Function
Have been using this app for years. The keyword feature is really odd and not all that usable. If we could search for keywords within dreams that would be great.
Pretty good
Amazing how this works. Very helpful for interpreting. Would be good if it could delve deeper with less direct interpretations. But I do recommend it 100%.
Thank you for reaching out <3
Prompt support and fixes upon request, thank you!
I can’t sign in
When I try to sign into the app it kept saying The data couldn't be read because it isn't in the correct format.. Please help.
Dream come true
Wherever I am I have a quick way to recite my dreams immediately so they aren’t forgotten! I’ve studied dream work for years and this app makes a perfect journal for group work or personal recording. Then the dreams remain accessible over time so that one can learn from patterns over time.
Review
I’m out of time to pressed the wrong button after I’ve done it and it erases the whole thing

Easy to log and use
Nice layout, accessible features. I haven't tried the AI chat yet. I just like having a place to put my dreams. I've been using it for a couple years now so I have a lot of them stored up.
Serious privacy issues
App shares your dreams to other users automatically. Doesn’t let you change your user name without premium subscription. App should advise you to choose a user name that doesn’t disclose your identity.
really excellent
This app is so handy and the interface is so user-friendly. I use it to write down all my dreams. I wish they hadn’t gotten ai involved and I dont believe you can do dream interpretation without knowing someone, so I took off a star for that.
Dreams Missing - sometimes won’t let you read Apocalyptic Dreams
I’m missing many dreams that I KNOW I wrote down…can’t search for them or scroll to them… all were political dreams. Also prophetic dreams about natural disasters on the android app won’t let me click them. I can click any other dream but if it’s about an earthquake or tsunami…you can view it and the app force closes…..very suspicious
Limit of Dreams
I’ve been recording my dreams on here for years now, but as I reached the 300 mark, the app informed me that in the free tier, I only had storage for about 10 more dreams. I do not use any of the specialized features of dream journals, such as the visualization or AI features, nor do I use the public features. I did not particularly care about the publicity of dreams or such, but I enjoyed the tagging and titling aspect. However, with the limit imposed, I have since then started exporting my dreams to an app that does not have a limit, especially as I simply want to log the content of my dreams, not for interpretation sake or social media. This app is truly not bad, I enjoyed that I did not have to make an account, the passcode/Face ID option, but I do not like that I was imposed a limit on, especially as I have to pay to export years of dreams. Because of this, I will no longer be using this app.
Peak app for peak dreams
Hopefully nobody goes on my phone and reads these
Unreliable
I used to love this app but now (on my macbook), every time I type in a dream, it randomly deletes the dream and closes the app and I have to start all over again. Very frustrating and worth switching to another type of dream journal. I mean - - incredibly frustrating.
Hopefully
It would be really cool and I would give it 5 stars. If had like a fallow button like on Facebook and a search bar to find dream like for example dream that has animal in the dreams
Kinda Meh || 5 Year User
I definitely liked this app at the start, but it seems like the updates that have been made are just mediocre or don’t contribute to the overall aesthetics of the app. I think it is time for me to call it quits with this one. It was certainly fun while it lasted, but I’ve since stopped recording my dreams, and the lack of interesting updates doesn’t encourage me to want to get back into it. My goal from the very start was to increase my dream recall and learn how to lucid dream, but I’ve never been able to pull off the latter. The publicity of dreams on this all was certainly fun, but as I’ve some more experience in the online world, I feel a simple forum site would provide all I need and much more for a dream recording space. Thanks for providing a space for me in the start, but I feel that it is time for me to move on. OLD REVIEW: I quite like this app, and even started paying for it as of the AI Interpretation update. There’s an AI Image update that I’m not so sure of and personally don’t like all that much (and we don’t have transparency as to where the AI was trained yet—which is annoying as an artist myself). I would love to see functions that enable hiding/showing AI generations for each of a users dreams, or at least a master switch that controls every dream from one user so we can choose whether we want to see interpretations and/or images. For example, I’d like a area in the settings where I can toggle a couple switches according to what interpretations or images I’d like to see, and what I’d like the public to be able to see. Ideally, there would be one switch for interpretations and one for images. If this was incorporated into the app, I would be very happy; these are definitely cool integrations, but not all of them are my favorite. Thanks for providing a cool app for keeping track of dreams and continuing to update it. This is one of my favorite journaling(?) apps because of it.
Only 40 characters for adding tags…?
This app is a fantastic help with the journaling of my dreams, I just think it's a pity that you can only use 40 characters for the tags. I pay €1.99 every month and it would be nice if I could use at least as many tags as I’d like for that contribution. I don’t mind paying for something, but it has to be worth it, and in most ways, this app is worth it, but this is a drawback fot me, which is a huge bummer, because you’re able to make this app perfect with only small adjustments. I know that you’re able to write about your dream in as many detail as you wish in the field above the tags, but I’d like a bit more freedom in using the tags and in my opinion, 40 characters is just too little. I also noticed that using capital letters in the tags doesn't seem to work. Please take this into consideration. Many thanks in advance!
This app does it all
I love the ease and functionality of this particular dream journal. I highly recommend it.
love this app but it crashes on the desktop all the time
i really appreciate the simple design. unfortanately on the desktop version it crashes every 2 minutes. can y'all fix this and i'll up the rating? thank you!
Great simple app
I have used this app for many years, on and off. When i use it, i definitely notice my dream recall improving and my lucidity comes back. The dream wall can be interesting to read about what other users are dreaming ( you can choose to make your dreams public or not). You can also put tags on your dreams, i believe to track recurring themes in your dreams. However, I wish there was less limits on the amounts of tags I can put on a dream because sometimes my dreams have a lot of elements that I’d like to record. The tags could be a lot more useful if you could search your dreams by tags / keywords. Also, although i can label my dream as lucid, i don’t see a way to filter my dreams and search for old lucid dreams. So it seems that a lot of the labeling could be used better. All in all it’s a very nice app but I would love to see some improvements like the ones I just mentioned. There is also a newer feature with AI generated dream images and interpretations for your dreams. It’s fun ( you get like 3 or 5 free generations and then have to pay $1.99/month if you want to continue to have that feature available) … I appreciate that the app is free, and probably wouldn’t pay for the AI feature. But maybe I’ll support them in the future. If there was a One-time payment option instead of subscription ( maybe $5-10) , I’d definitely pay. Just don’t want to do a subscription.
just get an obsidian or some other rhizomatic notes app
data export shouldn’t cost money. bare minimum for my personal data i’m letting your app collect and profit off of. im paying the two dollars so i can get my years’ worth of dreams out of here and thats it.
Unclear on certain elements
I for this app to record my own dreAms. However, when looking at the wall I can see other people’s which is fine, but I don’t want mine to be public. There is no option I can see which tell you it’s public or not or a selection. Why?
Love the update
I’ve been a member of DJU quite a while now, and I’m loving the new update. There is so many things to do now and I’m learning more than I’ve ever learned before.
No more reality checks
I got this app because it had the option to alert to to do a reality check throughout the day. That option disappeared after an update.
Free app to keep track of my dreams! Love it!
I’ve always been interested in my dreams and how they pertain to my subconscious and what’s going on in my life. Back in the days before cell phones were computers & just for calling or texting (even then texting was a pain lol) I had a dream dictionary, and would often look up my dreams and what they meant. Now with this app, I can easily roll over and still be half asleep and push the “talk to text“ button and add my dream. I’ve contemplated about paying for the membership, it would be nice for it to automatically let me know what my dream means (AI generated) but because it’s a priced as a monthly subscription, and I don’t always remember my dreams, I haven’t subscribed yet. I’m not sure if it would be worth it if I’m only logging a few dreams a month… I don’t know if it’s something with age, that as you get older, you remember less of what you’ve dreamt or what. But it does help me to track my dreams easily. I can see if there’s any patterns going on and see how it applies to my life at that moment. I am pretty in tune with my mind & body, and can usually tell why I dreamt a certain dream. But with that being said, it would be nice to automatically see what my dream means and how it applies to my life automatically. I would like it if there were different subscription options though, like a 1, 3, 6 & 12 month subscription deal, buy more & save more, which is the only reason I gave it four stars. Great app for free, even for the subscription price if you plan on using it often to get your money’s worth. I recommend!
Fun but buggy
I was enjoying this app a lot, then it crashed out on me. I can’t connect to sign in, check my old entries, activities or dream wall. Have tried reloading but no joy and no help to get it back up and running. Have been using it for well over a year. That’s a lot of dreams to lose. Very disappointed and annoyed. 😤😭
✨
Really good to write down you dreams, helps you go back and re read them and people can comment and suggest reasons behind the dreams. I just wish you can search or follow people you know so you can see thief dreams more easily
i love this app
such a simple app, so fun to use and so neat. update: i have been ride or die for this app for so many years, great for tracking. they added a bunch of new features to train lucid dreaming and a symbol dictionary and i am obsessed. if you have ever had any dreams in your life get this app
Pin doesn’t work
I entered in a pin but now the app won’t accept the correct pin. Whenever I try to reset the pin, the email doesn’t go through. I tried contacting the developer because I want to have access to my saved dreams but heard nothing back. Very disappointing.
I've been using it for almost 7 years!
I have more than 500 dreams saved in this app.
No warning then stop updating
Keep accepting new entries but after 21 entry new ones deleted next day. Very unfortunate especially everything else seems pretty good.
fab app
I love this app, it's very handy and it a great way of keeping in touch with you're night time adventures! Something I find very interesting! Although, like many things, there is plenty of room for improvement, maybe more options of how you can respond to other people's dreams, or if you can creat a more personal profile to enable to socialise better with others when discussing dreams.. The dreams could also maybe go into categories, so others can share a specific experience with you. This app could go viral! If it was better advertised and maybe the owner made more of a profit from in-app advertising, many people would like this app! :)
Very Good App
Dream Journal is an easier way to organize your dream journal. No more book by the bedside table.
Do not use
App works but publicly shares your journals on the internet. Contacted support and received no response!
Great Dream Sharing App!
I’m impressed with this app. It’s sleek and simple and the design is so user-friendly. I like that dreams can be added and shared with a group with options to filter. It’s excellent! Hope there is a search added in time so different themes or symbols can be located across all the posts.
Deletes dreams
Is a very good app until you realise it deletes some of you dreams that you have spend ages every morning writing down :(
Good but flawed.
Neat and easy to use. Plus everything is black which helps for writing in the middle of the night. My only gripe is that while I type, I'm unable to see what I'm writing. My text is hidden behind the keyboard. If this issue was addressed it would be much easier to use.
Awesome!
Great tool to help journal, interpret and understand your dreams.
Unable to Use App & No Customer Support
Unable to set a pin on my account shortly after downloading the app. App pop-up states a new pin will be sent to my email, but this never happened despite confirming correct email and repeated attempts. Emailed app support 5 days ago, but no reply. Thus, unable to even start to use this app.
Good App! But...
There should be an option to add friends, so that you can share dream journal, or just specific parts!
Good app but needs improvement.
Love this app but I usually end up writing my dream in notepad and copying and pasting to the app. The text disappears below the line of the keypad so you're essentially typing blind after a few lines of text. If you have to make a correction, you can almost forget about getting the cursor to the right spot as you can't see the line of text, just the cursors magnifier. Dev needs to fix text scrolling so that top text scrolls up so that current line stays centred and visible. Audio record capabilities would be nice too. But fix text scrolling and I'd give it five stars.
Simple but Amazing
I’ve been using this app for awhile. Its interface is very simple and basic. For me this is fine. It really feels like a notebook. The audio to text is pretty good and doesn’t require much editing if at all. What I am most impressed with the addition of AI dream interpretation. I’ve been exploring the dream world my whole life. I tend to be skeptical of dream interpretation because dreams are so personal and nuance. But this AI interpretation is AMAZING! Rich in its psychological analysis without relying too heavily on generic symbolism. I have yet to read an interpretation that felt wrong to me. And for the low monthly price, I feel this app is an important addition to anyone interests in understanding their dream life better
Stupid
Keeps asking to ad a dream description yet there is no place to add one. Pointless app!
Very smooth running app.
There is never any lag and it is always very easy to navigate around the different tabs.
Pin
There is no simple way to change or remove pin once chosen, from the app.
