Great app
Easy to use, gets all my data in one place instead of in a binder. Helps make good decisions using my own information.
Update ruined it
I’ve been using this app since 2019 or so and the new update absolutely ruined the use of the app. I’ve downloaded another that works more like the way this one use to. Can no longer freely look at rainfall totals on your fields without waiting on a notification at 3am and can’t see the map coverage of rainfall in the past 24 hours anymore.
Mac version
Love the Climate apps. But it sure would nice to be able to look at date on a Mac.
Rainfall update
With the latest update they made it to where rainfall is only updated once every 24 hours and that is horrible. The old rainfall reports were much better.

Use this app almost every day. I do not like the latest update where you loose all of your fields on the map and they are replaced with one pin with a number on it.
Update for iPhone please
Good day . I was using the app on android and was great we have 120 fields. We also use the app to navigate to the field. You select field zoom out and can go to maps to navigate which is awesome! Now I have an iPhone and i can’t do that there is no such option. Please could you make it work on iPhone? Look forward to your feedback.

Rainfall is SO far off now that it’s useless
We primarily used this app over the last few years as a rain gauge, and it used to work really well for that purpose. Unfortunately in the last year the rainfall has become wildly inaccurate on all of our fields. It might tell us we’ve had 0.6” since midnight when we actually had 3.5”. At this point, it’s utterly useless - very disappointing.
Just OK
We use it primarily for rain fall indicator. It works ok. It needs to have a user configurable rain fall calculator. I.E. I would like to see 72 hour rain fall amount as sometimes we have had mutiple days of rain and it is not convenient to tabulate rain fall in that period.

Disappointed
The “upgrade” was a downgrade. I loved having the rainfall bar and radar as the main focus. That’s all gone. I can’t tell if I got rain or not . So disappointing.
Good start
This app works well. Nice system for keeping everything recoded in one place. Only problem I’ve had is if half a field uploads the next day the other half doesn’t show up if you upload the other half at a different time.
Overstated rainfall
The last two rain events I experienced, one was overstated by .7 inches and the other by .43 inches. Not very close to any accuracy. Maybe they need to ground truth the radar they rely so heavily on. Any freezing rain or hail makes the radar see something that isn't there.
Awesome concept needs work
The app is awesome in concept but still glitchy with repeated fields and messy refresh. Plus the field workability (little green yellow or red tractor) is terribly inaccurate. Still useful I just don't trust the workability at all and I am not confident in the rainfall until I completely close and restart the app which is annoying.

Can’t sign on
Downloaded and tried the “Forgot Password” with THIRTY emails! Been a week and still no reply. Gonna uninstall it.I do not recommend this app.

Love the app a few improvements like showing the acres in each field when pulling up the map and being able to delete a field map other than that it's very handy!

Farmers and landowners both benefit greatly from the Climate Fieldview app. Anyone renting or farming a specific area of farmland is able to pinpoint his/her field. They’re able to find this area of farmland on maps via satellites giving the person an aerial view of the field. This app will give you a view of your entire operation on one screen to understand what is happening on each field, which makes it easier to make decisions that will maximize your yields. On the downside of it, the app is minorly bland and not very eye appealing. This minor problem , however, does not keep the app from being useful. Climate FieldView still is considered to be one of the best farming apps out there on the market. The app already has each field’s boundaries, so all that you need to do is click on the field. From there all you have to do is label the field name, the owner of the field, and the farm operation. Once you’ve done that, it opens you up to several little details about the field. The app gives the user current weather conditions and the amount of precipitation in the last seventy-two hours. One review, written by Weaux, on the app store said: “Can’t believe how flawlessly they built this app. The content has a great interface and has been pretty accurate.” The app can drain a mobile device's battery extremely fast, therefore you might want to have a charger on hand if using the app throughout the day. The app also presents a feature called scouting. The scouting part of the app recognizes several different items that you can mark as notes, send to advisors, and do other things with. Another feature allows you to take pictures of the selected field. A person could capture photos and share them with trusted advisors. Under the scouting part of the app, a farmer will mark notes on the field such as when he sprayed, harrowed, or even disked the field. By doing this, the farmer is able to be more organized and efficient in what he/she does. Keeping records of weather and scouting is not all that this app can do. The app shows areas where the soil is richer than other places on the field. For example, in a low spot, the app might say the soil type is Williams-Niobell loams level. The app also states how many acres of the field are that certain type of soil. This informs the farmer of several different things. First, it tells him how much more or less of fertilizer each part of the field will need, saving the farmer thousands of dollars. Second, the farmer becomes aware of areas to avoid during a wet year. Sometimes the top of the field might look dry, but the soil type says it is sandy land, so the farmer still needs to be careful of where they are driving. By knowing the soil type of the land, the farmer can plan for the future. Maybe, next fall the farmer wants to put manure on the field, but he/she doesn’t know the best spot to put it. All he or she needs to do is look on the app and the app will show show you where to put the manure because of the soil type. The app will provide an accurate nitrogen status of each field that will minimize yield loss.This is and will continue to revolutionize the way farmers make decisions on his or her farm. The app also keeps track of your progress of each crop on each field. You mark which fields you have planted, so you know which fields you still need to plant. The only minor problem dealing with the fields is that the fields aren’t organized so they are hard to find.That is one of the few problems this app has. If a farmer has a field a long ways away they can just look at their app and see what they planted on the field and when they planted it. You can also login how many seeds you planted per acre. Then you state how many acres you planted and can write any notes on how the planting went. This activity that you post on this field will be there during the next planting season. This is a benefit as you will know if you need to make any adjustments from last year. The app also provides the users a notifications center which informs you on new things that are either happening with your field or need to be updated. The notifications can be sent to your email or have push notifications sent to your mobile devices. These notifications include daily precipitation reports from the last twenty four hours, hail reports, changes to nitrogen status, new map arrival times, and informational messages about new updates. There is also a login on the homepage of the app that shows all your recent activities that you have done to your field so you can stay up to date with what you have done throughout the day or week. The app features the Climate FieldView Drive that takes this app to the next level. The FieldView Drive is a wireless device that you plug into your combine or tractor that logs data and transfers it to the app itself. For the tractor, you can log all your seeding or planting data. For the combine, it will keep track of your yield for each acre that you harvest. This little wireless drive will greatly improve farmers lives. One, it provides farmers on useful data. This data saves farmers money, so they don’t overuse the fertilizers they put in the ground. The data from the harvest tells why some parts of the field yield more than others. The Climate FieldView app offers farmers with lots of valuable informations saving he/she lots of time and money. Describing areas of your land: sandy, rich, alkaline, and many others while being very accurate. The app holds all your notes on the field, and even keeps them as history throughout the farming seasons. It may offer some difficulties, but overall this is a great app for farmers willing to save more money in less time.

Love this app but having a terrible time with most recent update. Every time I click on the icon, it acts like its going to open but doesn't. Then I can see it's open in the background, but if I try to select it, it immediately disappears.
Perfect for Senior Citizen
Climate: Basic & Pro is perfect for an 81 year old guy. I eat lunch at the Senior Citizens Center 5 days a week. We always have lively debate over "How much rain did you get?" Now we can have our debate and when it's I settle the debate. I have an iPad and iPhone, both are blue-toothed to my hearing aids. Climate; is the accepted answer to "How much rain did we get"

This app might as well be buried in the field as it will not let you register your email to be able to open app !! Pure JUNK... This app would be more useful buried out in the field and maybe it would make some fertilizer !!!
