Description
Esta aplicación incluye todos los medicamentos autorizados en España y su finalidad es la de proporcionar información farmacéutica y administrativa de cada uno de ellos.
Los medicamentos, cuyas autorizaciones de comercialización han sido revocadas, se mantienen a título informativo 5 años.
En el caso de aquellos medicamentos cuya autorización haya sido temporalmente suspendida se mantienen durante la suspensión. Puede existir un desfase de 24h entre la aparición de esa nueva situación en CIMA y la fecha en que ha sido efectiva la nueva situación de la autorización.
Desde esta aplicación se tiene acceso a la Ficha Técnica y al Prospecto del medicamento. La ficha técnica está exclusivamente dirigida al profesional sanitario. Para los pacientes y demás usuarios, la aplicación ofrece acceso a la última versión del prospecto autorizado, que es el documento que se incluye dentro de la caja del medicamento y cuya finalidad es la de informar al paciente.
La aplicación dispone de un intérprete de lenguaje natural MeQA (Medicines Questions and Answers) que responde preguntas sobre el contenido del prospecto. También puede leer el código datamatrix del cartonaje de un medicamento y navegar directamente a la página CIMA del mismo.
A pesar del esfuerzo realizado, no podemos excluir eventuales errores u omisiones en los documentos presentados, por lo que esta aplicación tiene una finalidad exclusivamente informativa y carece de validez a efectos legales. Si los Titulares de la Autorización de los medicamentos detectan errores en los datos, se deberán cumplimentar las plantillas disponibles en esta página. La validación solo la podrán realizar las personas que estén autorizadas para utilizar la base de datos RAEFAR.
