Not accessible if you have a joint account… no explanation given for why online banking is possible with a joint account, but not mobile banking !?!? 🤷🏻♂️
Latest update issue
Hope BM team address this issue The app is very good and has been using it for years for all financial transactions. But, the latest update is selecting the current account instead of savings account as default account unlike all these years for transactions. Either give an option to select default account which should be used for transfers and debits or show always saving account as default like before. Now you keep your rents in current account and you transfer money to someone and money from you rent(CA) is gone and unless you notice it’s a problem. App does not have a place to give this feedback… you have a “feedback” menu which is basically a “support” feature where i don’t have an option to send feedbacks like these. So saying it here Hope you address this issue

Facing serious problems activating NFC. As such I’ve been using it earlier all of the sudden it stopped working and I’m not able to use it anymore.

Speed Transfer is amazing Feature. The rates are the best in the market. The app is easy to navigate and very user friendly. KYC update is easily possible on the app.

Add new good features and remove others
The new App update adds new good features, however I see some old features disappear. Example: I do not see the card transactions in monthly basis anymore. Only the recent few transactions. Can you please bring back the view for the monthly ( one month - three months) transactions
Latest update as on Jan 2025 is sad
I have been using this app lately but today’s update makes me wonder that why did I choose this bank. The colour combination is weird, sad, depressing and hurting my eyes. It seems like the UI has degraded and gone back years in time. Please go back to previous font and colour combinations if cannot improve it. Rather than focusing on the look of the app, please concentrate on the functionality and reduce lags and bugs.

this is worst for iphone holder in case u link ur account to other side is ask you to log in as new phone!!!!! and the issue is if you are out of oman it wont work at all need to fix it bank muscat other local banks app dont have same issue as ur and when you call them they simply say format your iphone🤣😂omg
Keeps improving
The BankMuscat app is a must for account holders! It saved me many trips to the local branches. It does instant money transfer & you would do a range of transactions including deactivating lost cards. Worth using and it is very safe. Never had an issue with it. Forget old reviews. I do not work or have any connections to the bank but this all works well for me & I would like people to use it. Good luck

Session Time Out
Session time out happens in a few seconds and it is humanly impossible to complete any transaction in that record time as reference phone number or card number or account number needs to be entered slowly without making mistakes. Pl give enough time and avoid frustration with frequent time outs.

KYC updated and email confirmation received however unable apply credit card due KYC expired. Service champion’s unable resolve the issue. Branch is pathetic 😵💫😵💫😵💫
Scan and Pay feature
Dear app developers, * Kindly add a widget for scan and pay option. * Most of the time this option doesn't work effectively. * There is no point displaying the balance amount while scanning the QR Code, since its visible to everyone and privacy is compromised.

Dear Sir/Madam, We are facing issue very frequently issue where app is asking to activate the account every time. It’s been very annoying to follow the whole process every time. This issue is been faced only in iPhone

Used to work, now it crashes
I wish it worked as well as it used to. It used to be especially good for in-country transfers, which was useful when paying for services. Now I can’t even open it because it crashes constantly. Come on, Bank Muscat, you can do better!

Bug after transferring to other banks
The app overall is great. There is a bug in current version where after transferring to other banks the app does not respond to any touch. I need to quit the app and relogin to use any other service.

Very huge bug
When u close the app and reopen it to sign it, it keeps showing that yr last session is still working and u have to logout of it, and the only way to solve this is to restart the whole mobile
