What people like
- Great for learning basics like ABCs and counting
- No ads interrupt your child's learning time
- Lots of fun songs and interactive activities
- Covers many subjects from reading to kindness
What they complain about
- Most content is locked behind a paywall
- Older grades have very few free games
- App often crashes or shows a green screen
- Currency lessons are confusing for non-US users
The best game for children
I rated this 5 stats because that’s what it should be genuinely rated, I love the tic tac toe minigames and other games like the racing game for 4th grade and 5th. I hope it gets an update where it can go up to 13th/senior
Garbage app
It goes out weekly and won’t let you log in or blocks the extra features you pay for with your subscription. Get your stuff together star-fail
not bad
It’s not bad, but I thought everything was free because I have the app on my school computer and everything‘s on it grade 4 2/5 it’s good but I feel like hummingbird Park should be free
My child is very sad
Kids should be able to learn without money
Pretty good
I downloaded this app and it was kinda babyish and I’m in first grade and the first grade stuff is kinda weird but it’s ok 👌.
Starfall
Copyright 1990-2024
YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES THIS HAPPENED? IM NEVER DOWNLOADING A SINGLE APP EVER AGAIN. [growls]
This game is horrbile! i cant believe how many times I RAGE IN HERE. IM ACTUALLY SUPER EXTREMELY MAD THE MOST OUT OF ALL OF THE YEARS I HAVE BEEN, FROM NOW ON, I HAE EVERY GAME FROM THE ENTIRE APP STORE 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I’m enjoying Starfall, but not everything is free...
I love Starfall and there’s videos and games you can watch and play. You can also watch the ABC song, which features a witch and a fairy at the beginning, and you can choose your grade. Grades 4-5 are a little different. Though make everything free, because you have to sign in to access all content.🙃
No more Children Cheering 01!!!!!
When I played this game on my dad’s IPad the intro had the Children Cheering 01 and made me scream! And by the way can you replace the intro, Grade 2 English, Road Trip to the Children Cheering 02 please?
A few issues……
So when I go onto the stuff where you can create your characters, it always resets my character every time I go on it and also when I go on the what will I wear thingy it like always starts to glitch at the last part but the rest of the game is awesome I really like the puzzles.
Nostalgic + why you should download starfall
I am currently in middle school and I loved this app when I was in elementary (ever since pre-k to 2nd grade) and I loved this app so much! If you are reading this, here a few reasons why you should download it based off my experience! (fyi I don’t remember much since I haven’t played this game in a while so this is just how much I remember) 1: it’s educational 2: the illustrations are kid-friendly 3: you can choose which grade you want to learn in! 4: it has many interactive games 5: teaches almost all the stuff you need (ex. Math, reading, art, spelling, history, holidays, etc..) BUT here’s something to know, some stuff in starfall could require you to pay but luckily most of the stuff you would need are free! Consider downloading starfall! It’s great!
Terrible
This game is so bad I asked to subscribe and all i got was a declined payment message
I like it
It is good just I don’t like kinder garden level Ps.pls respond to me developers
Little games
Can’t play anything only 3 games available for me hence the rating
It was OK
Am I opinion why it was OK because it wasn’t the best because I feel like they didn’t really have like that much like stuff for the kids like there’s like way more like math stuff you could do but like I agree with that person who said fourth and fifth graders like they don’t have anything like they don’t have like as much as like the other grades below too, but like I still appreciate all the learning stuff in this, but I would say that they should add more math stuff to help the kids learn more. Thank you for reading this.
I loved Starfall
Make this free download again please 😢
I don’t like it
It’s not that doesn’t help you learn it just games and I would just give it like one star because it doesn’t even help your kid learn they only have games and they do have math games but it’s only like playing games or not too much learning in that so I don’t recommend that because it isn’t too much but I recommend that it’s a scam
Screen lock please
Can yall please see about a SCREEN LOCK and/or GAME LOCK (specific to the selected game) I’m totally fine with letting them explore the entire app I still like to sometimes now as a grown adult lol But its hard explaing to a 3 yo to STOP taping the big kid section and then he gets frustrated when the games are hard And it would help also so he can focus on what he needs for a little and THEN play however he wants a balanced screentime

It’s pretty amazing but..
Not gonna lie, I used to like this app so much when I was at least 4-5 years old. But since I’m like 12th grade, I think the devs are running out of ideas and never updated the app since. By the way, can you please add like grade levels if thats fine. Thank you.
The only app that I accept🥹🌹✨
This was my childhood app “Starfall” one of the only apps that I actually enjoyed as a 6-7 year old. I can’t believe that ts actually got an update✌️I’m officially in middle school and I’m finally too old for this, I mean I still wanna play on it, Besides u might wonder why im still using ts app STARFALL WAS JUST PEAK FOR CHILDHOOD.
Too babyish and doesn’t function properly.
This app is over 20 years old and it is definitely showing signs of its age, plus there aren’t many activities that suit my little brother’s level (Gifted 2nd Grade) Not a good app.
Could you add like something where the kid can get a sibling and choose what the sibling
And make the sibling a profile that would make it funnier, thanks.

You are sweetie cute app!
I rate starfall has to pre-K to5 reading and math I was download my app by Linc C I downloaded at 100 years ago I have rated five stars
Stopped opening
Wouldn’t open on iPad mini 12.5.7
I do like this but…
Dear, whatever you call it creator’s? Now,I’m in 4th grade and all I wish is you add more to the 4th and 5th grade section I feel a 4th grader will still want to design a character too. I sometimes go to the kindergarten section and the 1,2,3 grade section to have fun and design a character but mostly just that, to design a character. I love this game, but as I get older I miss the fun 🤩 besides that this game took over this game ate (a awesome game you made .) oh and also what’s up with the people saying it’s not free you literally just have to sigh up ITS FREE BRO, thank you for hearing what I had to say, I hope you send back.
好多都玩不了。
看着功能挺齐全，但是里面有的不行点不开。
Read this now
Well I think it would be better if you could get all the games as soon as you down load star fall and it’s a little bit easier then most educational games but on the other hand it is completely free and no adds and som what fun and that is why I gave Starfall
Star-fall
Starfall is the best! Nostalgic Zac the Rat! Why did BACKPACK BEAR ROAR? AMEN!
No longer working
App updated today, and now it doesn’t work. Won’t open, just a green screen briefly, then back to home screen.
Omg
It cost for full content like what -.- it’s supposed to be free for kids to learn like there isn’t nearly anything free
Green screen
No app, just a green screen. Green is not my favorite color or this would not be a problem. My girls love starfall on the computer but they also dislike green and do not enjoy the green screen "app". Although it doesn't work even a little bit I gave it two stars based on it being a great website. app = -27 stars
Please fix pronunciation of year
Please fix how the year 2025 is taught in the app. It currently says “two thousand twenty-five” when 2025 is supposed to be “twenty twenty-five”
The starfall
The first thing
This is a cringe app low-key
Skibidi toilet this app ngl don’t download it ain’t rlly good for learning
Great resource
This is a great educational resource. Covers a lot of basic language skills, math, and arts. I think its really cool they have lessons on respect and kindness and have seasonal activities. Since this is an American application a lot of the lessons with money may be confusing for those in a different region. There is the use of dollar bills instead of coins. I think it would be a nice options to be able to change your region to avoid any confusion with the currency.
Trash grade 4 and 5 learning things
It’s really trashy for the grade 4 an 5 options like a few game and the rest money it’s not fair it’s good for younger tho.
Yay I happy
Fun Fun Fun Fun Fun I love it I use at school but it summer so I get on my iPad Fun Fun Fun Fun
Nononono I will delete this app!
They replaced my favorite games into this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!$
Fun and helpful
There are plenty of different activities to choose from, with a variety of skill levels and interests. My kid likes the funny machines that sound out words, and it reminded me of phonics on Sesame Street back in my day. For a while the app would get stuck on a green screen and not do anything, but that fixed itself one day. The only real change that I'd ask for is the option to use Canadian coinage instead of U.S. coins. They are all the same size, color, and names, so the songs and games shouldn't have to be adjusted; just needs new images to apply to the in-game objects. The only hiccup would be substituting $1 coins (loonies) in place of dollar bills.
Better not the best
The voice of the cpu is strange, the in app perchises are not the stuff I like stop the green screen but still good education
My Little Bro is ALBERT EINSTEIN!
I’m an 11 year old older sister, and I have lots of educational stuff on my iPad that my brother can use, and right now Starfall is for the WIN! The gameplay set up is perfect for little ones and they can quickly learn the basics. I can especially say that I love how it’s completely free, (well it used to be..but it’s not ALL THAT limited, it still has the need-to-know things! (ABCs, 123s, and other educational stuff) has no ads or pop-ups, and that you to have TONS to do! From mastering the alphabet, counting and number songs, catchy rhymes, a variety seasonal games, and so much more fun activities! It includes ALL primary school grade levels, which are separated into sections. (Kindergarten and Pre-K, 1st and 3rd Grade, and 4th and 5th grade.) My little brother has already mastered so much from it, even from a download so recent, that’s how good it is! If you want a main app for your pre-K or primary schooler, this is the go-to, MUST download!
Not worth a monthly subscription
They make you pay monthly yet nothing ever changes or gets added. Should be a one time purchase only.
It has in app purchases
So close but take away the locked things it’s a in app purchases
Good but....
A good app but if you need to buy the in app purchases to make it last longer than an hour! The free content is just a bit limited.
