Best recorder app I have ever used
Simple and multifunctional. I go back to the days of micro tape recording and this app is great. I’ve used it for over ten years. I’ve never had any issues and many of my recordings have been used in the court settings.
Can’t EXPORT until you pay for the entire app!
Unaware that my recording would be used as an extortion tool. I made a important phone conversation only to find out it is locked in this app until you purchase the full application. Don’t make a recording longer than three minutes and expect to export it as you’re going to be extorted to purchase the entire app in order to export the transcript or audio. Additionally, the app crashes regularly.
App is good except
The app is okay overall except that when I go to download my recording the app shuts off unexpectedly.

The app was amazing...until recently. I can no longer send audio I’ve recorded to my email. Was the only reason I made the purchase. Lately I haven’t been receiving the emails from the app. I paid for it, so It should work
Great recording app
Easy to use, high quality audio, and reasonable pricing
Don’t waste your time or money
Not user friendly. Can’t even log in to export a very important recording. The login screen is so dark you can’t see what your typing. Tried to get live help and an hour later, still no answer.
make a new feature
Make it so that on apple u have to hold the power button for abt the same time to open siri. But instead u can start a voice recorder. Just switch the siri application with the voice recorder.

This is a very good app. However I’ve had no response when asking for support. This aspect is quite disappointing.

Help my recordings are spotty
I record just fine, but when I play it back it seems as though the it plays back in snippets and they are playing over another snippet. I will need to fix this or get a different app. PLEASE HELP
Good app
For a free app, it does a good job. I recorded a two hour talk and audio quality is good. It’s hard to share file with others as it’s too big to send as an attachment. You have to use Dropbox or equivalent.
Only use the feee version
The recording quality is not good. The sound recorded have some cracks in it. You are not allowed to Airdrop the recording which exceeds 3 mins. You’ve got a better one than this.
It costs!
It works OK, records for free, but for anything else such as exporting a recording you pay through the nose. I went back to iPad’s voice memo recorder.

What happened?
This was a very useful tool at one point but now it’s completely useless. Doesn’t work at all.
Valida ma instabile
La app non funziona male e la trascrizione è abbastanza precisa. È un po’ instabile, si chiude da sola spesso, non quando registra o trascrive.
The developer is too rich to respond.
Before every operation the app says that something is wrong and asks to send an email with weird codes to the developer. I did. No response, for many days. The app still makes the same idiotic request, which I need to ignore. Looking for a replacement not so much because the app is unusable, it is still usable, but because I hate to deal with app developers who are either too rich to care, or too poor to get organized and respond.
They say only have to purchase once
That’s a lie. Had to redownload paid again put in for refund instantly denied. Feel fairly sure they know who bought through Apple ID just a warning. It’s barely worth 10 def not worth 20.

Won’t finish recordings
Having an issue for when the screen goes dark, it won’t record anymore. I’ll open it up after recording, it will say it’s recording but going back to playback, it only recorded for about 40 seconds. This has been an issue since last iPhone update.
Works well for me
I use this app to record my many appointments with a variety of doctors. It is simple to use and gives very clear playback. I have not used the transcription feature but can see many potential uses for it.
Lost very important information on previous version - No support response
I lost very important recordings when changing from previous version to new one. The data still occupies space in my phone storage but am unable to open the previously version. I have not received any response to my emails to developer support. Please help!!

Unable to save recordings
I upgraded to iPhone 12 Pro. Since doing so, I can’t seem to save my recordings for more than maybe a day. Why? And how do I delete all my trash. For some reason that sticks around for quite some time. I am so frustrated that I will soon be looking for another recording app!!! I am not happy!!

LOST ALL RECORDINGS!
Been using the app for two years then it stated to play up and wouldn’t load so I deleted it and reinstalled it and all my 50 recordings were gone! I contacted the company who told me I could not get back my recordings which was upsetting! The good news is that they do not store you recordings on any servers but the bad news is that if you delete the app and reinstall it your recordings will be gone!
Very good - unless you need an invoice!
Excellent, easy to use recorder, although as others have said, it bugs you to upgrade. Equally impressed with the transcription service. However, inexplicably, you get no invoices or receipts for your purchases, and I already spent over $100 on transcription, which I cannot charge to my business without an invoice. I’ve failed to get any response from the developer, either directly or via Facebook. Very odd. Wonder if the IRS will get a better response…Anyway, 3 stars because of this, but if you only need it for private purposes I’d give it 4 or maybe 5.

LOSES FILES but they are recoverable!
Many reviews report a problem I also just encountered: your files will disappear from the app after it’s closed and reopened. This has been going on for months and the developer has not corrected it. For anyone experiencing this, your files are not gone! Use a desktop application that lets you explore your iPhone backups and you’ll see your files. I used something called iMazing. Go into “File System,” find this app, and you’ll see every files in the Documents folder.
Good recording quality but seems to need
.. Good, but I bought extra functions in the app to make sure that I could export interviews. However, it might have been possible to do that in the free version also? Good anyway!
Lost old records
I’ve lost my very memorable old files which was recorded by the old version smart recorder ,with a different icon .. it suddenly stopped working ,and then apparently it’s developed and substitued with this new version ,and despite of android , you can not access your files of an app in ios ,except the very app.. So how could I possibly restore my old files ?
Great app, but no good for me.
This app looks great and easy to use. But I can't use this app as a third party that's not the program software gets access to the recording information. Basically it's a privacy concern. I can't record interviews on this app, as that would be a breach of confidentiality.

Disappearing Recordings
I loved this app until my recordings started disappearing. I would record, save and play it back. But the second I would close the app and reopen it, my recordings would no longer be there. What is going on? Why doesn’t the developer respond to request for help?

The free one is better
I have a memo app on my phone but I thought if I downloaded an app it would be better. I was wrong. Everything I recorded with this app with fuzzy, and scratchy. Every time it skipped over big chunks of conversation even though the phone had not moved and the people had not moved. They want me to pay $17 to have the premium options. Why would I pay $17 after listening to a recording that sounded crappy? If you’re going to screw people out of money at least make the free version awesome so they want to do it

I pay to have audio boost never got it,in stead they give me synth.adust..Anyway,I think is too expensive,still waything for the Anser from ITunes Store,..thanks....that's my Opinion.....
Ghosts
My house developed a periodic banging sound and I didn’t know what was causing it. Could be either pipes, or heat run? Different spots along one wall. Recorded it overnight with my phone and iPad. Still haven’t figured it out. Call Ghostbusters! This app worked well.
No longer displays saved files for playback.
I purchased this app years ago. I loved it, until it stopped listing my saved audio files. I make an audio file, the app asks if I want to save it, and I say yes, and when I close and reopen the app, the audio I just recorded is not listed. What in the actual f? Another app bites the dust.

Il programma funziona molto bene e ascolta veramente tutto, il problema che ho riscontrato è l'impossibilità di selezionare il formato mpeg4 e mpeg4(AAC) e mpeg4 (alac) perché il menù non mantiene visibili le opzioni sopra citate. Per il resto fa quel che dice, 5 stelle quando risolveranno questa problematica
