Pls Update Categories
Stop is genuinely my favorite game, I have been playing it for years. However, the amount of categories that need to be updated in preposterous. Pls update Oscar nominated films because I’ve lost so many rounds for doing recent movies. That’s all I ask please make sure you’re looking at the “this is a valid answer” claims and updating and then your game is a 10/10

Not easy to set up
Tried with my daughter in hospital, but couldn’t set up to play with her, after adding her as a friend her name did not store, has to keep adding her an her the same, but games started solo, in the end we gave up, needs clear instructions how to play with friends. Also keeps taking coins by landing on Z and y every time, no enjoyment

Needs Update
I love this game but im not gonna focus on that part for this review. I just need to say that this game needs an update to include up-to-date validations. Categories like “NBA players” need to be up-to-date because my correctly imputed nba player always gets marked wrong. I’m worried to input anything into any category that recently became eligible because I know that the game isn’t up-to-date. I typically repot the word as “this is a valid answer” but never have seen improvement out of that. Anyways, I love this game, there’s so many great things I could say about it but I just wanted to point this out.
Fun game too many ads!!!
The game is pretty fun but it sometimes takes a while for my opponent to respond. I also have to many ads that pop up and enterupt my game other than that It is a really fun game!!!

used to love this game so I redownloaded it. but there’s way too many ADs and it makes it hard for me to want to play. also, i get the same letters over and over so it doesn’t make the rounds fun.

I used to play this game with as many partners as I wanted but now there are a limited number of lives and a HUGE amount of ads. The game itself favors players with keyboards
Long review, for those interested
I played for less than two days before uninstalling. I played against randoms. Here’s what I thought of the game: Good: -fun to play against friends (I can imagine) -nice way to test your knowledge, especially under pressure -simple layout, easy to navigate through the app -nice to play for a few minutes every here and there to waste time -some creative categories… I liked “my dragon is…” and “tomorrow will be.” Bad: -some overly challenging categories… really hated landing on Summer/Winter Olympic medalists and prime ministers. Who actually likes landing on these?? -some letters are too hard. Obviously letters like X Y Z, but I landed on plenty of other letters where both my opponent and I could only think of one answer. -I personally hate the stop feature. Too many people speed typing one answer then immediately stopping. Really ruins the fun since you get no time to answer other categories and you have to rush your answers to win. Wish there was a mode without it. -lots of ads -people ignore your match, which means you’re losing lives without even getting to play Random note: An in-game auto-correct would be great since I looked like a fool and only got half a star for typing “basebell” instead of “baseball.” I can’t live it down.
Lost original game, won’t restore my coins.
Initially could not retrieve my original game or play anyone. Couldn’t retrieve from FB. Playing for 8 years! I had over 4700 coins and competing with a person who I played faithfully twice a day for over two years. I also paid for the ad removals! “Patch update” never ever solved the issue. So disappointed and mad. Had to start a whole other game, now down to about 200 coins, in which I’ll have to purchase in order to keep playing. That is not fair.
Needs Updating
There are so many answers I put that are absolutely valid answers. For example, the category was “fear of” with the letter N and I put “number 13l (Triskaidekaphobia) and it was invalid. Another topic was “Objects made of…” to which I put “Nylon Fiber,” another valid answer because many things are made using Nylon Fibers. The app needs a faster process to confirm appeals on if words count or not!
Quit asking me to rate the game over and over
I’ve already reviewed this more than once! So I’m giving a one star rating every time it asks me after each game!

Confused
Whenever I get all of the awnsers right it still says I loose ? I beat my opponent and I don’t go through to the next round ? Can somebody explain the aim of the game for me .

I play this game for a little while and then delete it. The amount of ads I’ve noticed is way more now. I also noticed it says play with friends and list people who I don’t have on my Game Center as friends. Not sure what that is about. Other then that it’s a fun game

It’s really fun to play, and it helps me stay in contact with people while long distance! But having an ad after every single round is exhausting. I get ads make games free, and I don’t mind them very often because the world we live in is full of them, but it’s getting to a point of fatigue.
They need to improve the awnser people give
I was playing a match and then it said name a sport I put foot ball and it said incorrect it said name a tree I pu5 oak said wrong Then it said stuff that starts with x and I put xylophone
Fun, except the “cheats”
I love playing this game when the opponent plays the whole game. Even if I lose, I love the challenge! However, I am absolutely frustrated with other players who get ahead in the first rounds and then refuse to finish the game, so they automatically win?!?! What the heck?? Refusing to finish a game is called FORFEITING, and it should mean you LOSE. I constantly have a list of games just “waiting” to time out because this is so common. I wish they would fix this.

Sometimes inconsistent
I like this game a lot, but it can be a bit frustrating because words are sometimes valid or not valid inconsistently. For example, when playing on an S, I entered “S. Grant” for a U.S. President. It used to be valid and now it’s not. I just played a player who used “S. Truman” and his answer was valid. Grrr…
How about you STOP! the ads
This game used to be so fun but there are literally adverts and popups every 2 minutes. Feels like I am constantly clicking off and reloading the game
Love/hate relationship
I really like the idea of this game. The categories are fun and I enjoy a little competition. However, the players refuse to play! I’ve had 6 games (out of about 10) in the past week that have timed out because the other player would not play! We need an option to play a robot. That way the stress of wondering whether or not your partner is actually going to play or not is removed and the fun is all that’s left. Please, please add a robot option!

This game is great but...
This game is really fun to play, on that you don't have to have friends or an account or anything to play it. The graphics are good and it has all the elements of a good game. However, it has lost the aspect of the OG version of Stop where you receive points for your answers (it has replaced it with stars) and has also lost the loss if points for same answers. Also, it appears to allow you to play with obscure letters, such as X or Z for categories such as 'Counties of the UK'. Overall, a good game with a few negative inconsistencies. BYE
Good until...
It was a great game! No adverts and it was all fine! I had forgotten about this game so I decided to play it again. I played 1 round with somebody i then went to play another and an ADVERT POPS UP. So im doing a round with someone. For example the letter D. And it may be My dragon is... So i type dirty. I do all of the answers and the other person did something like dowoskdkakkdke. All my answers were wrong and theres were right. Thinking this is a glitch i carry on for 2 weeks. Then that happens AGAIN. its rlly annoying. People can also cheat using the stop website on google. Its rlly annoying. Im here not cheating and everyone is cheating. Its annoying. From Moon

Great game but wayyy too many adverts! I’m going to undownload as I can’t cope with how many adverts there are! I understand one every 5 minutes or so, but this is ridiculous and so frustrating! You spend more time watching ads than playing!
Excessive Ads
I understand ads are an important revenue source for developers, but ads in this game are excessive. I don’t want to watch an ad every 60 seconds after matches. I honestly really enjoy this game and would be happy to pay a one-time fee or even subscription fee to remove ads. I guarantee I’d sit and play for hours longer if I didn’t get sick of the ads first and end up quitting to play another word game.
