Amazing you should get it
I highly recommend this game. It is amazing there’s so many breeds which I’m really happy about cause most games only have certain breeds. I’m really happy that they make games that people actually love and actually like and they’re just amazing makers so please support them in. This is the best game ever 😍
Unusable
Love to play on my laptop, but the app is useless. Nothing I do even registers when I play on my phone. Completely wastes my time. If I’m not near a computer that day I’ll lose my login streak. Logins don’t count when you do it through the app I guess. I also got charged for a hat full of passes to get my membership twice. I’m nice through the website, and another time through my phone a few days later. I hate the app now after being charged twice. When I tried to explain the problem I received no response and was charged regardless. What a complete waste of time and my hard earned money to put an unusable, glitchy app like this on the App Store. Have been playing this game since I was a little kid, and I love it, but this was just so disappointing.
Great nostalgic game
I played this game a bunch as a kid and came back to it recently. I love that there’s an app now and the ui is so similar between the app and the browser. However it does miss out on some browser features that are very useful like BLUP breakdown when you hover over the bar. There is an issue with freezing hence only four stars. I have noticed on iPhones if you accidentally pull the lock screen down when playing, the app will freeze and needs restarting. A minor nitpick but it gets annoying haha. But apart from that, I love it and am happy to be back in the Howrse community 🐴

Ok so I used to play all the time but I took a break afterwards but! Now every time I try to play again it won’t let me in it it says something like failed to play or something like that and I love the game but I can’t play anymore please fix this!
Some inconvenient functionality
I’m a returning player who came back after I found out about the mobile app. It appealed to me due to the convenience compared to PC. With the landscape / horizontal-view, it’s not convenient or efficient for me to play as much as I want on a smartphone. I find it awkward to play while on-the-go because you need both hands rather than one. Additionally, my hands and fingers are becoming stiff and sore due to having to hold my phone differently to play, especially since my phone is too big for my thumbs to tap anything closer to the center of the screen so I need to readjust my grip. For the company itself, it means losing money because I am less productive playing; therefore, I am not buying passes as often. Another complaint I have is that I am constantly having to log into my account every 2-4 times I open the app. It’s pretty annoying needing to type on a keyboard for a click-based game. Some improvements I would like to see would be to make the different pages (like Today, Breeding Farm, Equestrian Center, Trade, etc.) easier to access because I’m not a fan of having to 1. Scroll up, 2. Open the Menu, 3. Select the Category, 4. Select the specific Page. Instead, I would prefer to see all of the page options (Office, Horses, Competition Results, Management, Boxes, Meadows, etc.) on one screen/view; therefore, save a click by skipping step #3. Another minor improvement for me would be returning to the previous page with the same search/filters applied. For example, when I search for a horse with the same name, I have to re-enter the same name if I want to view different horses with the same name. These are my only complaints and preferences. The game runs smoothly otherwise. I really appreciate the devs being active and present for us. :)

OMG this game is so good and so much fun 🤩 I can’t believe this is even a thing I love it so much. It’s the best game in the whole world. Also there is one tiny thing. It’s so fun that sometime that’s about it but this is I recommend this for three-year-olds that’s how good it is. I love it so much.
Fun game, Terrible app
I’ve played Howrse since 2010. When the mobile app launched I began to use it regularly as it was much more accessible than constantly sitting in front of a computer, you could open the app for a few minutes and perform a few tasks in the time you had. Not everyone has the opportunity to spend several hours in front of a computer everyday, and that’s how a mobile form of a game can increase accessibility. However, the app recently went through a “redesign.” The app is now the desktop website, on a 5 inch touch screen. There has been no adjustment of text or proportions to tailor the desktop layout to a phone screen. Text is tiny, and attempting to press buttons without zooming in is impossible. Every page requires you to zoom and scroll in order to perform basic functions. This causes great eye strain and reduces accessibility. The app is very poor and nearly impossible to use.
A Review
I love this game. There are so many different kinds of Horses. From many breeds of horses to even more breeds of ponies, Draft horses and even two different breeds of Donkeys. This is a wonderful game. Btw, there’s also unicorns too.😊🙂
Formatting Issue
The buttons and text on this game are way too small. It would be easier to use if some of the data on-screen was condensed and formatted for phone gameplay.

J’aime beaucoup le jeu mais depuis la mise à jour pour l’application mobile, je suis absolument incapable de me connecter (les identifiants etc sont tous bons puisque j’arrive à me connecter sur ordi), je suis obligée d’aller jouer sur ordinateur et ce n’est pas pratique pour moi. Je trouve ça dommage car la précédente version de l’application fonctionnait très bien. Très déçue de cette nouvelle mise à jour.

Hello I have had this game for a few months and I haven’t had the chance to play it because it says I need internet even if I have every bar I can get. I really want to try it but I can’t 😭. I love the game but I haven’t been able to play it because it wouldn’t let be sign into my account and I was only off for a week because was on a trip with family but over all it’s a great game. 😋
Not that big of a fan
I don't know why it needs my parents email and my parent will probably not agree to that but if i got to play then i think it will be fun but the horses are really cute and the creators did a really good job making them!
Continues to go down hill.
Started playing this game on desktop when I was younger, about 15-16 years ago. Since then, it’s become less of a game for all. More geared for adults if you want to improve at any pace. They do offer forums and options to allow your input and 99% of players are great. However, they do not listen to common issues repeatedly brought up. Quite a money grab game as well like any other app, whether you put in hard work or not. Hope they improve. Also be aware- if you encounter more than one problem purchasing someone, the “team” that fixes these issues simply tells you “next time take it up with someone else” instead of looking into the issue that deals with real people’s money. I contacted Apple like they told me to, and Apple clarified it indeed is not an issue on their end. Just a caution! If you like slow and just monkeying around, there’s plenty of options for that.

after +3 years of playing i can honestly say this game has a hold on me. it scratches all the itches i want in a game
App not good
The newest version of the app is horrible. It does not function as an app. It does not fit phone. Everything is too small and it's super hard to navigate. It's essentially the desktop version of their website which does not translate to an app.
I love it but there are problems
I absolutely am addicted to the game but there is one big problem. I hate the new look to the game and the new arrangement. I deeply hope you can fix this. It is very ugly looking. I liked the old one better. Thank you for listening and please please write back and fix it I loved this game but you could lose a lot of players
Please return to vertical app layout
I love this game, and using the app was really nice for me since I use my phone way more often than my computer. But now the horizontal layout has made the app virtually unusable. Please at least give users a way to toggle between vertical and horizontal layouts.
Great game, app not so much
I’ve been playing this game since I was a kid on the web version. It’s a great game but the app glitches a lot. Logs me out every time, I can’t manage my equestrian centre in app and auctions work poorly over all. Good game but app needs optimising

Mobile app changed
I love playing this since i was little but the mobile app wouldn’t load yesterday so I had to delete and redownload now you can only play in landscape mode and it’s sooo different that there should almost be a new tutorial for the change. It’s set up like the website now and small hard to see lettering to try to click on accurately. I’m pretty upset please go back to the old version before you get more bad reviews.
Doesn’t often work
I play on the PC as well as on the app, lately the app just won’t load at all past the opening screen of some horses and the ubi soft logo, no matter if I switch between wifi and data. Although today I can’t access the app nor the website, on any devices at all
New app is HORRIBLE
Whoever hired this development team needs to be fired immediately. The app is unusable now. I’ve spent over $200 in the past month on this game and it is so stupid that I am no longer able to play because of these changes that nobody asked to be made. Make it so we can at least play horizontal on mobile and have the old version back. Nobody asked for this vision, impaired horrific redesigned that you people somehow thought up. It sucks. No one is happy. I personally will no longer be spending any money on this game, which is sad because I have been a player since the early days. I used to love this game. You’re really driving players away now.
New mobile version sucks
I love this game and have been playing it since 2009. The summer time is when I mainly use the mobile app as I live out of a camper for seasonal work. This new update has made it completely unusable for me. Unless you have an ipad, it is the most asinine design for phone users. Will continue using the desktop version, but shame on the people who tested and approved this. We hate it.
Never got what I paid for
So I bought this horse from an action and I won him but I never got him I have no idea what happened to him but I definitely won him and am really annoyed that I have not got him so this game lost a star because of that
New Update
While there are some exciting things about the new update I think the format is just trash. It’s really not a phone game at this point just a computer game. The landscape version is trash and it should go back to the portrait version so we can play normally on our phones.

Satisfying but a bit boring
It’s fun to breed horses and whatnot in the game but you cannot interact with them at all. Also it’s very unrealistic as compared to taking care of horse in real life. I have been riding since I was 8 years old and I currently compete in eventing, so I have enough reference to know it is not realistic. I really should have given this app 3 stars instead of 4 but whatever.
Says my log in info is wrong
I literally just made an account on Chrome. Looked for the app and tried to sign in. Said incorrect info even though I just made the account and have the info written down. So I tried forgot password and it says there is no account tied to my email (I did verify the email). Sucks. Hopefully my browser doesn’t log me out and not let me back in again.

I’ve just made an account and I logged on, I knew my details. When I went off and went back on it 2 minutes later, it wouldn’t let me log in so I said I forgot my password and tried again, now it’s saying there is no account with my username. What’s happening?
It won’t load
Ok so this game is the best horse game and I started by playing it on computer but then I downloaded it on my phone and began to play it a lot and recently I’ve clicked on it and it doesn’t load it just shows the loading page and I’ve given it at least 10 mins to load but it won’t and my WIFI is perfectly fine so it’s not that? Please fix this game as I can’t always play on my laptop and I rlly like it!! Other than that it’s an amazing game I love it🐴🐴❤️❤️

Horrible.
I’m not someone that comments around or leaves reviews but what this game has just done to its long term players, heck all payers actually, it’s app, it’s history… I’ve played this game for just under 20 years, almost as long as it’s been around and I’ve stayed for all the changes, overcharges, and general issues but this new update is just a bridge too far. Shame on you Howrse, it is basically unplayable now, horrible.
Good game
Don’t usually have a problem, other than the game can get buggy when achievements have been unlocked, currently cant get past “Reserved Sales” because the app is buggy. Once this is resolved it’s a good app!

This game is fine but...
There is a problem with the transitioning when I click to do different things. For example, if I want to put my horse to sleep then feed it, there will a sort of sliding motion where you can see white parts on the screen. I wish I could send a picture to explain what I mean...

Really good game however I can’t seem to find where on the app you can manage your equestrian centre this is really disappointing as managing your equestrian centre is a massive part of Howrse ? Ubisoft please can you fix this issue and add equestrian centres to the app ! 🐴
Needs updates
This drastically needs updating- the app crashes and a lot of the pages are unavailable on the app. Good website which could do really well as an app if the app is updated.
