Choose a source from Photos or Files, review its details, select a compatible output, and export. A focused three-step workflow keeps the source, conversion settings, and finished result clear. When the export is ready, share the audio or save a copy to Files.

TRIM THE PART YOU NEED
Use the optional trim controls to choose where the audio begins and, when needed, where it ends. Leave the end control off to export from your selected start point through the rest of the video. The app validates the range before export.
This is useful when a longer recording contains one section you want to keep, such as part of a personal video, presentation, rehearsal, or another clip you own or have permission to use.
COMPATIBLE OUTPUTS
Video to Audio checks each selected source against export capabilities provided by the system and shows compatible choices instead of a fixed list that may fail.
Depending on the source and device, choices may include M4A, CAF, WAV, AIFF, or AIFC. Automatic mode prefers a compatible option. Exact choices vary by video, media tracks, device, and system version. A readable audio track is required.
PRIVATE, LOCAL WORKFLOW
Conversion runs on your device. No account is required, and selected videos are not uploaded to a conversion service. The app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs. You choose the input through system pickers and decide where the finished file is shared or saved.
There is no cloud library or account history to manage. The app focuses on extracting a usable audio file while keeping the workflow under your control.
RELIABLE EXPORTS
Before conversion, the app checks for usable tracks, readable duration, compatible presets, and supported output types. Clear messages explain when a source cannot be used. Active exports show progress and support cancellation. Failed or cancelled exports are cleaned up.
Preferences are remembered on the device and can be reset from Settings.
SIMPLE ACCESS
Five successful conversions are included. Only a completed audio export uses one. Choosing a video, loading its details, cancelling, or encountering a failure does not consume one.
After those conversions, Lifetime Access unlocks unlimited use with one non-consumable purchase. It is not a subscription, and there are no renewals or expiration dates. Restore it with the Apple ID that completed the purchase. The current localized price is shown before purchase.
LIFETIME ACCESS:
Video to Audio processes selected videos and creates audio files on your device. It does not require an account, upload media for conversion, or include analytics or advertising SDKs.
Five successful conversions are included at no charge in total. Selecting a file, loading its details, cancelling an export, or a failed export does not use a free conversion. After five successful exports, Lifetime Access is required for further conversions. Lifetime Access is a non-consumable, one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited conversions. It is not a subscription and does not renew or expire. Apple processes purchase information through StoreKit under Apple's terms and privacy practices. Restore Purchases is available for the Apple ID used to buy Lifetime Access.
Available export presets and file formats depend on the selected video's media tracks and the capabilities provided by the device system. A source without an audio track cannot produce an audio export.
