Back room, low lamp, two players, one deck. Pocket Aces is heads-up no-limit Texas hold'em that runs entirely on your phone — no account, no connection, no real money anywhere in the app.
Play the house, or hand the phone across the table. In two-player games the screen covers itself between turns, so nobody sees anybody's cards.
A real hold'em engine
Blinds climb every eight hands. The button posts the small blind and acts last after the flop. Minimum raises, all-ins, uncalled bets returned, split pots split — and the match only ends when one of you has every chip.
An opponent that actually thinks
Before each decision it deals the rest of the deck out hundreds of times to work out how often it's ahead, then weighs that against the price you're offering. Tourist calls far too wide. Regular plays it straight. Shark folds properly, value-bets thin and bluffs you.
Winning is loud
The pot cascades across the felt in chips. Your hand stamps over the table in gold while the count rolls up into your stack. A straight or better brings the confetti and the full jackpot fanfare with it.
