Equilibrium cant (Ce) — V² × 13.0389 / R (kph) or V² × 33.77 / R (mph)
Cant deficiency (Cd) — passenger comfort vs applied cant
Combined cant + deficiency (E+D) — checked against the line’s regulatory limit
Applied cant (Ca) — 2/3 × Ce rounded to the nearest 5 mm
Reverse-mode and compound curves both supported (F+R and F-F only)
10 m intervals by default, per-segment override where geometry demands it
Hollow / hump profile auto-detection on vertical curves
