Description
FMC TYPER is a retro typing trainer styled after an airliner's flight management computer. Every key of the panel sits exactly where your fingers expect it — practice touch-typing the aviation way, on a green CRT that feels like the real instrument.
FOUR GAMES
TYPE TEMPO — rhythm typing on a flight-display note field. Notes drop down the lanes to original retro tracks: hit the number keys on the beat, hold the long notes, chase PERFECT on the magenta capture line. Pick your song, pick your difficulty, and trim your personal sync mid-play like tuning the real instrument.
WORD RAIN — aviation words fall down the CRT. Type them and press EXEC to shoot them down before they pile up. Reach a 10 combo to enter FEVER: words auto-fire the instant you finish typing them, as fast as your fingers can go.
WHACK-A-MOLE — tokens pop up beside the line-select keys. Type the token, smash its key, beat the 60-second clock.
ROUTE RUN — fly routes fix by fix on a navigation display, typing each waypoint to advance. Complete the leg and grease the landing.
BUILT LIKE THE REAL THING
Faithful 1:1 panel scale on iPad Air 11" — real key pitch and layout for blind-typing practice
Three panel skins: the classic green-screen B737 CDU, a blue-grey A320 MCDU, and the E-JET MCDU — each with its own muscle-memory quirks
CRT glow, scanlines, phosphor trails, screen shake, and a warm-red FEVER mode
Original retro soundtrack and sound effects
TRAIN FOR REAL
Blind-type ICAO airport codes, waypoints, the phonetic alphabet, and procedure names. High scores are tracked per skin and per category, so your muscle memory has a scoreboard.
FAIR AND SIMPLE
The first rounds are ad-free, then a short ad appears every few completed rounds. One optional purchase removes all ads forever.
