EVERY TIME CONTROL
Fischer increment — time added after every move
Bronstein delay — get back what you used, up to the increment
Simple delay — count down only after the delay expires
Japanese byo-yomi — periods that reset each move
Canadian byo-yomi — a block of time for a set number of stones
Hourglass — your time flows to your opponent
Multi-stage controls — "40 moves in 90 minutes, then 30 minutes"
Sudden death, and any combination of the above
