Your checks are limited: ID, guest list, sobriety, pat-down, past record. Compare the ID to the person — does the name match, is the birth year off, is the laminate lifting at the corner? Pick the wrong row and the fake walks right past you.
Then decide: Let In, VIP Table, Reject, or Call the Police. Good calls grow your reputation and your cut. Bad calls ruin the night.
