Description
SportGates – manage your gym membership and enter the club with a barcode.
This app is made for members of SportGates fitness clubs. It lets you manage your membership, enter the club using a barcode generated on your phone, and keep your account details, payments, and club announcements always at hand. The barcode is an additional way in, alongside your usual membership card and fingerprint access.
Club entry with a barcode
Forgot your membership card? Open the app, generate a barcode, and scan it at the club gate. For security reasons the barcode is generated only when you are at the selected club — this is confirmed using your device's location. If your membership is paused, not valid at that time of day, or you have an outstanding balance, the app tells you in advance and explains what to do next.
Membership management
See your membership type, its validity period, and its current status in one place. The app clearly indicates whether your membership is active, temporarily paused (for example, during a holiday), or valid only at certain times of the day. When needed, you can purchase a new membership directly in the app.
Payments and invoices
Review your payments, invoices, and any outstanding balance. Financial information is presented transparently and updated automatically.
Club occupancy
Check how busy your chosen club is right now, and come at the time that suits you best.
Notifications
Receive important club announcements directly on your phone: changes to opening hours, membership validity, news, and reminders.
Account management
Create an account, update your contact details, change your password, or, should you decide to stop using the service, delete your account directly in the app.
Who the app is for
The app is intended for members and staff of SportGates fitness clubs. An account is required to use its features, and a valid membership is required for barcode entry.
Location data
Location data is used for one purpose only — to verify that you are at the club when generating an entry barcode. It is processed only for the duration of that request, is not stored, and is never shared with third parties.
