Description

▶ "What mountain is that?" Point your phone at the skyline and Peak Scope labels the summits in front of you with their names, elevations and distances, floating over the live camera view.

▶ It reads your compass heading and tilt to work out exactly where you're looking, then projects nearby peaks from an offline database onto the horizon. No signal needed on the trail.

▶ Prefer a classic view? Switch to compass mode and read bearings on a clean dial without the camera, handy for orienting a map or planning your next ridge.

▶ Peak data comes from OpenStreetMap (natural=peak), bundled by region so you can explore without a connection. This is a bearing-based labeler, not a terrain silhouette match — very distant or hidden peaks may be approximate.

▶ Built for hikers, trekkers, climbers, road-trippers and anyone curious about the horizon. Save a labeled photo to remember the view. No account needed.

Labels depend on your device compass and location accuracy and are for general reference, not navigation or safety-critical use.
