Description
You can set an alarm for 7am tomorrow. But try setting one for 7am three Tuesdays from now. The Clock app will not do it, and a reminder is just a quiet banner you will swipe away and forget.
WakeDate fixes that one gap. Pick any date, any time, and get a real alarm. It uses the same alarm system as Apple's own Clock app, so it rings out loud even if your phone is on silent, in a Focus, or the app is closed.
WHAT YOU GET
A real alarm for any date. Next Tuesday, next month, the morning of your flight. Pick the date, pick the time, done.
Calendar rules. Turn events into alarms automatically, like "ring 20 minutes before every event in my Work calendar". New events get alarms without you touching anything.
Snooze on your terms. Choose the snooze length per alarm, with a live countdown on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
A next alarm widget. See what is coming right on your Home Screen.
Timezone honesty. Alarms ring at the moment you picked, and WakeDate shows the original timezone if yours has changed since.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No tracking. No ads. No server. The app makes zero network requests, so your alarms and your calendar never leave your device. Calendar access is optional and only used to schedule alarms locally.
PAY ONCE, OWN IT
No subscription and no in-app purchases. You buy the app, you get everything, forever.
GOOD TO KNOW
WakeDate needs iOS 26 or later, because that is the first version of iOS where Apple lets third party apps schedule true alarms. If an app promises date alarms on older iOS, it is sending notifications and hoping for the best. WakeDate does not.
If you have ever missed something important because a reminder was too easy to ignore, this is the app you were searching for.
