Description
The film plays on the big screen. The subtitles are on your phone, in the language you read.
CinemaCC turns your iPhone into a quiet personal subtitle screen for the movie theater. Find subtitles in the app or import one or two SRT files, tap Start at the first frame, and your subtitles scroll in sync with the film on a theater-dark display.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Find subtitles online or import one or two SRT files before the movie
2. Dim your screen and tap Start when the first frame appears
3. Glance down to read one or two subtitle languages in sync with the film
4. If the timing drifts, nudge the subtitles with the floating controls — or let Find My Place listen to a few seconds of English dialogue and jump straight to the right line
Every film. Your language.
Theater-dark display that stays readable without disturbing anyone
Screen stays awake for the whole film
Fully offline — nothing to load once your files are imported
Floating, draggable timing controls you can use in the dark
YOUR SUBTITLES, YOUR LANGUAGES
Find one or two matching subtitle tracks through TMDB and OpenSubtitles, or use one or two SRT files you already have
Wide subtitle file-encoding support, so downloads from anywhere just work
Recent pairs are saved for quick reuse
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Find My Place runs entirely on-device — audio never leaves your phone
No CinemaCC account, ads, or advertising tracking; an OpenSubtitles account is optional and used only for provider downloads
Whether it is a film that never got subtitles in your language, fast dialogue in your second language, or a movie night with someone who reads a different language than you — CinemaCC keeps you in the story.
