Description

SoundCheck RTA turns your iPhone or iPad into a fast, honest audio-analysis toolkit for live sound, install, and studio work — no account, no ads, no tracking.

Point it at a room and see the truth in real time: the full frequency spectrum, sound pressure level, and the exact bands that are about to ring. Everything runs on-device, so it's instant and completely private.

REAL-TIME ANALYZER (RTA)

See the whole frequency spectrum as it happens. Switch between a 31-band, 1/3-octave view that lines up with a console graphic EQ and a high-resolution view for fine detail. Tap any band to read its exact level.

FEEDBACK FINDER

Ringing before a show? SoundCheck RTA highlights the exact bands that are feeding back so you can ring them out in seconds instead of chasing them by ear.

SPL METER

Check sound pressure level with A, C, and Z weighting, Leq averaging, and min/max hold. A calibration offset lets you line the reading up to a reference meter.

REFERENCE TRACES

Capture the current spectrum as a saved reference and overlay it later to compare a room, a rig, or a mix against your target — with a per-band difference readout.

ANALYZE FILES

Load an audio file and run it through the same analysis pipeline as live input, with play, pause, and scrub.

BUILT RIGHT

Works with the built-in mic or external USB-C / Lightning interfaces and measurement mics.

Measurement audio mode — no OS "beautifying" of the signal.

Private by design: audio is analyzed live on your device and is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. No account, no ads, no tracking.

Note: phone microphones are not calibrated instruments, so SPL readings are approximate — use the calibration offset for closer results.
