Description

There is one dragon. Its name is Aurevane. It is as big as the world.

Long ago it grew tired, curled up, and went to sleep. The land you live on is its sleeping body. The mountains are its spine. The dragon dreams, and every dream becomes a creature. A fox with a flame on its tail. A pup made of tide. A fawn made of spring. That is why this place is called the Dragon World. Everything alive is dragon, dreamed small.

But far in the north, something hurt the dragon in its sleep. No one will say what. And a hurt sleeper has nightmares. The nightmare leaks south as gray fog. It pulls the light out of living things and leaves them walking: gray, eyeless, empty. People call them the Hollow.

Here is the thing nobody knows about you. When you were small, the fog nearly took you. A wild creature gave you a piece of its own light to keep yours burning. Now you can see what no one else can: the last ember left inside a Hollow.

YOU DON'T CATCH CREATURES. YOU ASK.

A wild one jumps you. Do you grab it? No. You calm its spirit with Soothe. Then you ask for its trust. If it says yes, a Bond Crystal seals the promise. No luck. No odds. A friend, or nothing.

FOLLOW THE FOG NORTH.

Meet the Wardens, who hold the line with walls and lanterns. Meet the people in white masks who say the Hollow are free. Learn what really hurt the dragon. Then do the thing only you can do. Reach the last light in the ones everyone else gave up on, and call it home.
