Description
See your money clearly, without handing over your bank login.
Many expense trackers make you choose between linking your bank and entering each purchase by hand. Mieru offers another path. Choose a supported CSV or PDF statement. Mieru finds transaction rows on your device, suggests categories when it finds similar entries in your ledger, and lets you review every proposed change before it updates your ledger.
On compatible devices, on-device AI helps Mieru read PDF statements. CSV imports work locally without a bank connection.
Mieru never connects to your bank. You provide no bank credentials and maintain no bank feed.
After you set up Mieru’s payment shortcut, an Apple Pay payment can open a prefilled expense for review. Your Shortcut passes the amount, merchant, and selected card to Mieru. You confirm before saving.
Built for real life:
Track spending across cards, cash, and other accounts in their original currencies
Add transactions with categories, tags, dates, places, and recurring schedules
See spending charts and category breakdowns across the periods you choose
Review active and paused recurring costs
Share an encrypted ledger with a partner through a shared iCloud Drive or Google Drive folder
Export your data as CSV or an encrypted backup
Private by design:
Store your ledger only on this iPhone, in iCloud Drive, or in Google Drive. Backups and cloud copies are encrypted with your passphrase. Mieru has no ads, trackers, or in-app analytics that send your financial activity to us.
Manual tracking stays private. Statement import adds automation when you want it.
Why Mieru:
Mieru comes from 見える (mieru), a Japanese verb meaning “to be visible.” We’re a married couple, both engineers, and we built Mieru for our own lives: to keep shared money clear and calm without handing our bank logins or financial records to a personal-finance company. Nothing else fit, so we made it.
See your money clearly. Keep it yours.
