Data Source

Directly fetches GFS 0.25° grid data from NOAA/NCEP NOMADS (no intermediate servers). GFS is a global model suitable for broad patterns and multi-day forecasts.

Important Notes

App data is based on numerical predictions and not official forecasts from the Japan Meteorological Agency.

0.25° resolution may not capture fine local terrain effects or sudden changes. For critical decisions (work, safety, evacuation), always combine with official JMA forecasts, warnings, radar, and local authority information.

Retrieval may be delayed due to data updates, NOAA status, or network conditions.
