The store shows a different set in every country

Description

he old Solvayn post office is one hundred and twelve years old, and it has a week left to live.

In a recess behind the shelving — one that appears on no plan of the building — lies a stack: thirty envelopes tied with twine.

They were written by the town clockmaker, a man everyone thought was mad.

They were meant to be delivered by the postman — and he couldn't do it.

Tucked under the twine, a note: "I couldn't. Forgive me, Lord."

Now the stack is yours.

EVERY LETTER IS YOUR REAL STEPS

The Undelivered is a game you play with your feet.

Your phone counts your actual steps: a thousand steps, and you're at the door of the shop on Anchor Street.

Six thousand — and you've reached the house by the lighthouse.

You can't skim a letter. You can only carry it.

Like a real postman.

The whole season is a hundred thousand steps.

Two to four weeks of your ordinary life: the walk to work, the dog's evening round, a loop around your block.

The game walks beside you and waits for you to arrive.

A STORY THAT UNFOLDS ALONG THE WAY

On the road you find pages of the old postman's diary, rumors around town, small details on the envelopes.

At the delivery point, the addressee is waiting — and you see their face the moment they recognize handwriting twenty years old.

The clockmaker's letters are no ordinary letters.

He warned people about things that hadn't happened yet.

No one believed him.

His letters were never delivered.

And everything he wrote came true.

Why did the postman hide them?

What was in the letter addressed to the postman himself?

And why is there no name on the last envelope?

Thirty doors.

Thirty lives.

One secret that has waited twenty years — and, it seems, was waiting for you.

The road ends at the clock tower.

The last letter may be opened only at "quarter to" — the tower will wait with you, as long as it takes.

And when the hour strikes, the screen falls silent for twenty seconds.

Just so you have time to feel it.

The Undelivered is a slow game in the best sense of the word.

It won't nag you with notifications or beg for ratings.

It simply walks with you — step by step, letter by letter, all the way to the tower where time stands exactly right.

The first letter is addressed to Bruno, the shopkeeper.

His door is a thousand steps away.

Lace up.
