Description

Breathe with confidence. Air Quality Index AQI gives you a live, color-coded read on the air around you — a single AQI number you can act on, the pollutant driving it, and straightforward advice on whether to open the windows, wear a mask, or keep the kids inside today.

The home screen centers on a gently breathing AQI orb that shifts color with the air quality, from green "good" to deep "hazardous," with a one-line summary and health advice underneath.

WHAT YOU GET

Live AQI with health advice — a big, clear index with its category and plain-language guidance on outdoor activity, switchable between US AQI and EU AQI.

Dominant pollutant — instantly see which pollutant is the worst offender right now and how many are above the WHO guideline.

Full pollutant breakdown — current PM2.5, PM10, ozone (O3), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and carbon monoxide (CO), each shown against the WHO 2021 guideline limit so you know what's elevated.

Sensitive-group warnings — tailored notes for children, older adults and people with asthma, heart or lung conditions.

Mask & ventilation advice — should you mask up outdoors, and is it a good time to air out the house or keep windows shut?

24-hour & 5-day trend — see whether the air is improving or worsening, with min/avg/max and a five-day outlook.

WHO IT'S FOR

People with asthma or other respiratory conditions, parents, runners and cyclists, anyone living near traffic or industry, those in wildfire-smoke regions, and anyone who simply wants to know if today's air is clean.

HOW IT WORKS

Air-quality data comes from the Open-Meteo air-quality model for your location. Enable location for live local readings, or browse sample data offline.

A NOTE ON ACCURACY

AQI and pollutant values are modeled forecasts and estimates, not a measurement at your exact spot, and vary with weather and local sources. Comparisons use WHO 2021 guideline levels for reference only. This is not medical advice.
