Description
Time Pool is the best shot clock app for iOS. It's easy to use and it has the best features:
The buttons are clearly labeled with descriptions of when they should be pressed ("Balls stopped") and the actual names of the players.
Use the "Pause" button to stop the timer. The app doesn't have unnecessary buttons (e.g., "Stop").
Use the "Count down" mode to provide the same shot clock functionality you see in professional tournaments. Connect your iOS device to a Bluetooth speaker to amplify the beeps. (Great for tournaments, and as a training aid.)
Use the "Count up" mode if you want to measure how long each player is taking per shot.
The app records each shot and can display a running average of how long each player is taking per shot. (Useful in league and tournament settings if there's a dispute about slow play.)
