Another masterpiece by Five-BN
I’ve been a fan of this publisher for a while now. Each puzzle is unique and the story is gripping. The use of AI actually has me grinning at each cut scene. The lead character looks like a young Chris Pine to me!

STOP USING AI FOR ANIMATION
I've played almost every FIVE BN game, from lost lands to New York to mystery detective 2 (still currently figuring it out. The earlier games were better and I've been in more of a mood to go back to the Lost Lands series and play everything 1-7, but recently the newer ones make me feel like there's not a lot of humanity in the animations and it feels less human and more robot-like and please go back to taking the time to animate things. I'd rather have a good well made game than have one that feels like im just playing to get through another game in the series.

Super Fun but One Mini Game Has Issues
This was really fun. And hard. Not the mini games. They were fun but pretty easy for me. Other than one game, which is the game in the table of the cafeteria in chapter 3. I have the free version and tried 2 different settings of this mini game (when it wouldn’t solve the first time I reset the game and it was a different configuration that too was unsolvable). The issue is you have chips that can only move so many spaces to special squares. In one version the chip could only move 4 spaces but there wasn’t a square within 4 spaces. Literally. Okay there was 1 but the chip that went there HAD to go there because it could only move 3 spaces and there was only one square within 3 spaces. I spent 25 coins to skip it and in both versions where the chips end up couldn’t actually end up there. So that needs to be fixed. Other than that this was fun and hard because it’s not always obvious where to go next. I usually don’t use a lot of hints in these games but I used A LOT in this one. I wish the mini games were a little harder but that’s always my beef with this developer. Either they’re way too hard or way too easy. I wish you could choose your level of difficulty to make it so the mini games are more difficult.
Game was good, AI was not
The game was very good, like usual, but the AI was awful. Hand-made content always is better.
Not as advertised
There was no fee listed but when i downloaded the game i was charged twice foe it once $2.98 then $6.41. These charges were not listed prior to downloading.

More to be desired
Having played mystery detective adventure 1 (which I must say was one of the best games I’ve ever played) I was throughly excited to play this once it was released. However after around 20 minutes of gameplay it became clear that the mechanics of the game had changed quite drastically as well as the script writing. Major issues 1. The link between tasks and objects is now too dispersed, there are so many open tasks that require an item from another area of the map that you easily become lost in what you actually need to look for. I’m not sure if this is a deliberate plot to ensure users pay for coins but it seems like the aim to make puzzles more complex has actually made puzzles just more difficult to complete and track. Areas that have been completed are still available to inspect even if there is no actual action to complete ? , the order in which you obtain items makes 0 sense in the actual flow of the story , I leave my bedroom to go to the beach to get an item that’s for a room in the bar ? Why not have a clearer “detective diary” so you can link clues and objectives together and not just miraculously remember where everything is on the map. As people have stated the ads do not work, and you have now maid it so 4 ads need to be watched so we can gain 6 coins and buy a hint for “free” - just put a set price on the game and remove adds and add back free hints after a cooldown. 2. The storylines - the biggest + of the first release was the storylines were clearly different than the other games you have created. You were a detective solving real crimes ( murder, disappearance, etc ) it seems there has been a move away into just general mystery ? You feel less like an actual detective and just like another main character in any of the other games. To also add the dialogues are loose, you are provided with information that hints to a next step but then you have to go do something else before you can come back to the main point ? Unfortunately this was a very disappointing experience and I feel most of the other reviews are a little misleading.

Negative main character
The graphics are super clean, however the two stars are due to the poor writing, especially of the main character who comes across as arrogant and insulting most of the time. There is also a part of the game where the grown man main character approaches two young girls on the beach. They tell him they aren’t supposed to talk to strangers, so the next task is seeking flowers to give to the girls in order to get information from them. The game designers could have come up with better ways to have the character gain information other than bribing young children who have already expressed that they do not want to speak with him.

チャプター1後半の丸やダイヤ型などを決められた方向に押し出して型に収める謎解きで青いダイヤが上と右しか動かせないのにマスの一番上が初期位置になっていて収めるマスが右下でどうやっても下に動かすこと出来ないから最初から詰んでるんですけど。泣く泣く課金してスキップしたけど今後こういう進行不可能な初期位置やめてほしい。ちゃんと直してください。

Ai slop videos ruined the game and enjoyment. The faces are uncanny. Use human made animation it was always better and showed that you care about product and employees

I have played many games from five-bn and they are always entertaining. Moderately difficult, but can be completed with a little work. Highly recommend.

I fell in love with the first game and loved their artistic style for the cutscenes so to see that 5 BN has opted to use AI cutscenes is so disappointing. The art style is what made the game special and now that AI is involved it just lacks the authenticity it used to have.

Another winner
Five BN has done it again! I love the beautiful scenes, the puzzles challenging enough but not too difficult and the storylines. This one was full of surprises and I love it. I always love looking for morphing and collection items because I get to see all the effort put into the details of the background scenery. I found this game so immersive that I was playing the game while standing and I realized I kept swatting at my legs because the little gnats flying around the grass in the game. I was inside. It’s those little details like the gnats and the birds singing in the background that really puts me in a zone. Please never stop making these games.

… alle Spiele von fivebn, aber mit diesem hier werde ich nicht warm. Die Gegenstände, die man suchen muss, sind sehr schwer versteckt und stocken somit den Spielfluss. Die Minispiele sind unklar beschrieben - zumindest auf deutsch - und teils so schwer, dass der Spielspaß darunter leidet. Schade, ich habe so lange auf ein neues Spiel gewartet!

Once again, I’ve completed a game from FIVE-BN and it was great! No purchase requirements or energy burn out… just free to play! Sad that I’ve finished them all! I’ll keep checking back for new content.
Lacks Effort
Much like this game and its chopped cutscenes, any good reviews on this game are also probably AI generated. I miss when FiveBN put actual care and human creativity into their games. Now it’s all uncanny AI slop at best.

Too difficult and too gloomy
I always look forward to games from this developer, but this one is not as fun to play. The individual little games are fine, but finding all the necessary objects and where to use them is way too difficult this time. I spent way too much time just going over and over the same areas trying to figure out what the game wanted me to do next. The story lines are also lacking this time. It’s all just dark, with no real plot. Meh.
