Description

SpendPouch is a private expense and income tracker with a receipt vault, built for freelancers and small businesses that want simple records without bank sync.

Log expenses and income manually, issue a simple invoice and track when it's paid, attach receipts or PDFs, review local OCR output before saving, and keep the documents you may need later for returns, warranties, reimbursement, or your own business records. SpendPouch focuses on a calm manual workflow first.

Track expenses quickly

Create manual entries with amount, merchant, date, category, and notes.

Make your own categories

Add custom categories with a name, icon, and color alongside the built-in set.

Track income and issue invoices

Log income alongside expenses, issue a simple invoice for a client with a due date, and mark it paid when it's settled. SpendPouch books the income on the date you mark the invoice paid, not the date you issue it, and never counts VAT as income. These are your own records, not tax advice.

Mark business spending and VAT

Flag an expense as business or tax-deductible and set a VAT rate. SpendPouch fills the inclusive tax and shows a clear net, VAT, and gross split, with monthly business, deductible, and VAT totals in Insights. These are your own records, not tax advice.

Use voice capture

Hold the add button to speak an expense, then review the editable draft before saving. Voice capture uses Apple's iOS speech recognition to create an editable transcript; SpendPouch never sends your audio to its own servers or the AI provider.

Speed up receipts with optional AI Assist

Snap a receipt or PDF and let optional AI Assist extract the VAT, total, merchant, and date, so a messy receipt becomes a reviewed, categorized expense in one step. Only the on-device text is sent to the AI provider — never your receipts, images, or audio — and you review every field before it is saved. AI Assist is a separate, optional, pay-as-you-go add-on; manual tracking, voice, and local OCR always work without it.

See income, spending, and profit at a glance

A money-story dashboard shows this month's income, expenses, net (profit), invoices still outstanding, and an amount you choose to set aside for tax — tap any figure to see the entries behind it. This is an informational summary you control, not a tax calculation.

Export your records

Prepare a CSV export for any date range, including business, VAT, and tax-deductible columns. Freelancer also bundles a one-tap accountant export pack: a CSV, a profit-and-loss summary, and every matching receipt file in a single zip you share with your accountant.

Stay private by default

Your expense amounts, merchant names, notes, voice transcripts, receipt/PDF contents, OCR text, and exports stay on device by default. SpendPouch does not use bank sync, advertising tracking, product analytics SDKs, or session replay in the first release.

Freelancer unlocks the full app plus the business toolkit: unlimited tracking, business, deductible, and VAT/KDV flags with a net, VAT, and gross split, income tracking with a profit/loss view, invoicing with due dates and mark-as-paid, and the one-tap accountant export pack (a CSV, a profit-and-loss summary, and every matching receipt in one zip). Freelancer is free for 7 days for new subscribers and includes an optional AI Assist receipt allowance when AI features are enabled.
