Most "photo vault" apps upload your files to their own servers. Prive doesn't. Every photo and video is encrypted on your device with AES-256 and — only if you choose — backed up through your personal iCloud. There is no Prive server, no account, and no tracking. You hold the only key.

Files are encrypted before they ever leave your device. With Backup on, only encrypted data is stored in your personal iCloud — we can't read it, and neither can anyone else. Turn Backup off to stay 100% on-device. Verify Vault checks your library's integrity at any time.
SUBSCRIPTION
Prive Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, available Monthly or Yearly. Pricing is shown in the app before you confirm.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
