Description

Jinger — Someone's always got your back.

Walking home late. Taking a rideshare alone. Arriving in an unfamiliar city. These are the moments when you're most vulnerable — and the moments when no one knows if you're okay.

Jinger is the safety companion for solo travel. Start a trip, pick a trusted contact, and let Jinger quietly watch your back. If you go quiet, it raises the alarm automatically — so you don't have to.

How it works

Tap "Watch me," choose a guardian, and set how long you'll be on the move. Jinger sends your guardian a link — no app required on their end. They open it in any browser and see you live: your location, your status, how long until your next check-in.

You stay in control. When Jinger reminds you to check in, just tap "I'm OK." If you don't respond, Jinger alerts your guardian automatically — with your last known location and clear guidance on what to do next.

Features

One-tap start — up to 2 hours, with check-in intervals you choose

Live guardian page — your trusted contact watches your trip in real time with nothing to install

Automatic escalation — missed a check-in? Your guardian is emailed your location before you even know something is wrong

Manual SOS — one tap to alert your guardian instantly

Trip ends, link expires — your location data is never left exposed

Your guardian doesn't need the app

This is the part that makes Jinger different. Your guardian — a friend, a roommate, a partner — just opens a link. No signup. No download. They see your live location, your status, and exactly what to do if something goes wrong. One link, everything they need.

Designed for real life

Jinger doesn't track you all the time. Every trip is intentional and bounded — you choose who watches, for how long, and it ends the moment you arrive safe. No always-on surveillance. No social feed. Just a safety net for the moments you actually need one.

Free to use

The core safety features — trips, check-ins, escalation, manual SOS — are free. Always.
