Boat Speed does not track you. It doesn't collect, store, or send any information about you — no accounts, no analytics, no servers, nothing leaves your device. Your location is used only to show your speed, right now, on your screen.
SAVE YOUR BATTERY
GPS is power-hungry. Tap Stop when you don't need a live reading — it shuts down location and keeps your battery for when you really need it.
STAY SAFE OUT THERE
Boat Speed shows GPS speed over ground — it's a handy reference, not a substitute for proper seamanship. Keep a lookout, watch the weather, and never rely on a single device for navigation. Fair winds.
