Water Eject is a sound frequency generator built for your iPhone. The app lets you play tuned audio frequencies through your device speaker, which can be useful for several everyday tasks.
The most common use is helping with a speaker that sounds muffled after contact with water. When you play the right frequency at full volume with the speaker pointing down, the vibration may help move trapped water back out of the speaker grill. People use it after rain, gym sweat, a splash in the kitchen, a wet pocket, or a quick fall into a sink or pool.
The same kind of vibration may also help loosen small dust and lint stuck in the speaker opening, which can sometimes affect how loud or clear your audio sounds.
Beyond that, Water Eject works as a simple tool to test your speakers, hear how your device handles different sound levels, or just explore how sound waves feel through the speaker. There is no setup, no sign up, no account, and no internet connection needed. Open the app, set your volume to the maximum, point the speaker down, tap the button, and let the sound run.
