Most speed apps stop at a number. This one shows how trustworthy that number is — a live GPS signal label with the accuracy in meters — then records the drive, charts your speed over time, and gives you a mirrored heads-up display you can bounce off the windshield at night. WHY NOT JUST USE THE CAR'S SPEEDOMETER
Factory speedometers are deliberately optimistic and usually read a few percent high, and they tell you nothing about distance travelled or your average over a trip. A GPS reading is independent of your tyres and gearing, and it comes with a record you can keep. That said, consumer GPS is approximate and drifts in tunnels, canyons and parking garages. This is not a calibrated or legal speedometer and does not replace the one built into your vehicle. Never handle your phone while driving, and always obey posted limits.
PRIVACY
Everything stays on your device. Your location is read only to calculate speed and distance, trips are stored locally, and there is no account, no ads and no tracking.
