Description

Umm Tisa — the authentic Arabian mill game, in a clean modern design.

One of the oldest board games in the world, played for centuries across the Arabian Peninsula on engraved stones, drawn into the desert sand, and scratched onto the lids of wooden chests. Today it arrives on your iPhone with a design that respects the heritage and feels right at home in 2026.

Turn-based: play at your own pace — make a move, get notified when your opponent makes theirs.

TWO PLAYERS, ONE DEVICE

The classic table-top experience — pass the phone and play head-to-head with a friend.

TWO INDEPENDENT ELO RATINGS

One rating for your vs-AI record and another for online play, with separate Game Center leaderboards for each.

HOW TO PLAY

Each player has nine pieces. The game unfolds in three phases:

Placement — drop your nine pieces on the board.

Movement — slide pieces along the lines to adjacent empty spots.

Flying — when you have only three pieces left, you can jump anywhere.

Form a mill (three of your pieces in a row along any of the 16 lines) to capture one of your opponent's pieces — but you cannot take a piece that's already part of an enemy mill, unless every opponent piece is.

Win by reducing your opponent below three pieces, or by trapping them with no legal move.
