Spamocracy is an on-device SMS filter for political campaign messages. It helps identify political texts from unknown senders before they reach your main Messages inbox.
Choose the categories you want to filter, add your own sender or phrase rules, and keep an allowlist for messages that should always pass through. A built-in tester lets you try sample text before relying on a rule.
Privacy-focused filtering:
Message checks run in the iOS SMS filter extension.
Local analytics do not store message text or sender names.
Feedback is stored as fingerprints, not readable message content.
Spamocracy must be enabled in Messages before iOS can use it. The app includes setup steps for turning on unknown sender filtering and selecting Spamocracy as the text message filter.
