ShotList is a planning tool for filmmakers. Documentary directors, music video DPs, short film teams, and solo creators use it to turn rough notes into a structured shot list, scout locations, and run a shoot from their phone.
The flow is straightforward: paste a script, a treatment, or a few scribbled notes. ShotList structures them into scenes and shots — with framings, camera movements, lens suggestions, durations, and location ideas drawn from real nearby places. You edit what you like, keep what works, and head out.
On set, switch to On-Set mode. Big-touch UI made for cold hands and bright sun: mark shots as done, skip shots with a reason captured, record voice memos against any shot, attach a still grab from your camera roll so you remember what you actually got. Then export a clean PDF brief — typography that respects the document, ready to send to an editor or producer.
AI generation runs through your own API keys (Anthropic, OpenAI) or fully on-device with Apple Intelligence. No middleman, no markup on tokens, no proxy server with your scripts on it. Your work stays yours.
